BISTRO LES 4 SAISONS — Restaurant in Paris

I ordered the Fois Gras and it was terrible. I took one bite and asked to switch it to a Croque Madame. The waitress agreed. Then the bill came and the manager refused to take the Fois Gras off of the bill. The situation escalated to where the manager was screaming at us over 17 Euros. She got violent with my girlfriend and pushed her for insulting her Fois Gras! Meanwhile, we felt that if they weren't going to take the dish off the bill then they shouldn't have taken it off the table and agreed to replace it - so what did they do when they heard that - they took the Fois Gras out of the trash, wrapped it in tin foil and said we could take it with us and that if we didn't pay the bill they would call the police. As tourists, we were so afraid and upset by the situation. I would stay away. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. Place sucks and the staff is...

High expectations given the previous reviews. However....although staff were initially friendly and helpful, the steak we ordered was cold, and when it returned after being heated up it definitely wasn't the sirloin as described on the menu. The chicken was dry. The French fries were under cooked. When we complained about the steak not being sirloin, an argument ensued. We were offered complimentary desert which we politely refused. When the bill arrived, they had removed the steak, but then the argument continued, with them saying insisting it was a sirloin.... Overall, a bad experience. Not...

My real estate agent suggested this spot today and I’m happy to have checked it out. I had escargot as a starter and a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was battered and fried, which is apparently how they do it here according to said agent, but I wasn’t mad at it. Quite the contrary: it was slightly spicy and very tasty, and the Parmesan cheese in the salad was ample and good quality. And my friend’s soup was good, according to her. I’ll visit again if...
