We chance upon this lovely and cozy little Boulanger at Rue Tourlaque while walking towards Montmarte. They serve freshly baked breads, cookies, croissants, flans etc.. we tried the croissant and Madelines and they tasted amazingly great! We recommend this place as many parisians seem to flood in as soon as we settled down to a seat. The lady who is mending the front counter has a friendly demeanour and she could speak English well so it is easy to communicate with tourists who could understand or speaks English.

I accidentally ran into this place and had the most heavenly ham and butter sandwich. Their baguette is phenomenal. The crust is crunchy but it does not hurt you, inside is chewy and delicious. I particularly love their Madelines and had tried them once and on my departure day, I went back to buy 30 pieces to take it back with me back home in Singapore. The Madelines were soft and filled with quality French butter aroma. Every bite was pleasing to my senses.. They have great pastries and croissants too.
