The room looked nothing like the pictures. This was not the “superior” room I booked. If this is what they consider “superior,” I can’t even imagine the condition of their standard rooms. It’s clear they spent their renovation budget on a classy-looking lobby and a cozy bar area. But the room I stayed in was a completely different story: it felt like a tiny, outdated student dorm that hadn’t been renovated since the 1970s. The carpet was disgusting—old, stained, and filthy. I wouldn’t dare step on it barefoot. The lack of a thermostat made things worse. The heater was blasting all night, and after an hour of unsuccessfully trying to turn it off or adjust it, I had to open the window—in the middle of January—just to cool down the room. The room was so small that I could only open my suitcase on the bed because there was no other space. The bathroom was equally bad: tiny, old, poorly lit, and with a shower awkwardly placed in an open tub. This was, without a doubt, the worst room I’ve had to stay in for a long time. It’s shameful that they advertise and rent this as a “superior” room. When I checked in late at night, the front desk staff couldn’t accommodate my concerns and told me to speak with the manager the next morning. At 3 a.m., in the middle of a sleepless and miserable night, I decided to book a different hotel. I found a much better, larger room just two blocks away for nearly the same price. The manager, however, had no sense of customer service and refused to refund me for the second night, even though I didn’t stay. Do not be fooled by the nice lobby and the misleading photos. This place is a complete disappointment.

We had a lovely night stay in this beautiful classic looking hotel. The exterior does not do justice to the gorgeous entrance and lobby. Reception was manned by 2 lovely ladies who made us feel very welcomed. The hotel only has a lift upto the 1st floor, but there is a wonderful concierge that helps us bring our luggage up and down very efficiently. They also helped us wheel our luggage into the airport taxi which was very commendable! The family rooms were charming with parisian vibes and had a beautiful garden entrance. Shower pressure was excellent and there were some excellent shower gels available. Location wise, perfect for a quick stroll up to Sacre Coeur easily with restaurants all along! Lovely stay all in all. ❤️

Location is fabulous. Close to restaurants, bars, public transportation, a supermarket, fruit stands, flower shops, a pharmacy and lots of other convenient places. A short walk uphill to Sacre Coeur. The staff is nice, welcoming, and helpful. The room we had was clean and faced the back, which was quiet at night, but had no elevator. Keep that in mind when you ask for a room toward the back. Also, the bathroom layout was adventurous- why they had to cram a tub into this tiny space is beyond me. It was hard to get in and out as it had a fixed glass wall and only a small space in front of the toilet was open. If you don’t mind some gymnastics, go for it.

The hotel itself is lovely, located in a perfect place for cafes, restaurants & the Moulin Rogue just down the hill. There’s so a lovely bakery just down the round. ||Old tile flooring greets you, and the reception has a really old piano which is nice. The staff are really friendly and helpful.||That’s unfortunately where the good ends, the lift is tiny, and barely fitted two people + suitcases inside, and we had a very basic double room standard. ||Room;|The door only shut properly if it was slammed, and if you looked outside it didn’t fit the frame properly, there’s barely any sockets in the room, so we had to turn off one of the bedside tables to be able to charge phones etc, it was a very a room (even with the light plugged in by the bed). The bed itself was tiny ! It was smaller then a double.. after all this was said, my over concern was how warm the room was! Even with windows open (over looking an air shaft may I add), radiator turned off the room was like a sauna! Every night we would wake up drenched in sweat.. ||Another thing with the room is, you could hear everything in the room next door (and I mean everything) so the walls are really thin in between the rooms, but you couldn’t hear traffic outside????||Bathroom|Bathroom is nice size, and was actually okay, the bathroom door didn’t close properly though. Worse thing about the bathroom is the shower, it was so tiny you couldn’t do anything.. it was hard to wash yourself / hair..|It was like one of those tubes that teleport you. ||We didn’t have the breakfast as it was €17 per person/day and there was a lovely bakery just down the road.||Overall, the staff made the hotel, and was generally...

Awful hotel, i'm a french person and to all the tourist who want to try this hotel. This is a basic tourist trap. I've never had such a bad experience in an hotel, so bad that i wanted to wake up the earliest possible so that i could leave. We had NO electrecity in the room, the night staff (because we arrived in the room at 9pm) was unfriendly and useless, they didn't want us to talk to a manager or change our room. The room was really noisy (you could hear even whispers through the door because of a large hole there is under it), the bathroom was ridiculously small, same thing with the entire room in fact. There was papers from the previous guests ... not really clean... No air conditioning, i knew that, there was a fan to cool down the room but like i said, we had no electricity... So the warmth of the room made it impossible to sleep (i slept maybe 3 hours on a 9 hours night) The breakfast was supposed to be ready at 7:00, i had to wait 7:30 because the girl that set up everything was late and lazy (she didn't seem troubled by the fact that half of the breakfast was missing) I'm ashamed as a french person that people are received in 3 stars hotel that badly, i paid 90€ but noticed that the "normal" fare is 210€... What a shame... Oh and yeah 17€ per person for the breakfast, but can't afford to buy fruits... Cheap owners i guess, when you ask for the price of a 5* hotel breakfast to your customers, at least get freaking fruits... Edit : they said that i shouldn't rely to much on a refund because i paid online. Yeah i paid online like 99% of the customers... What a...
