Very cosy place though if you're sitting outside you're basically ON the sidewalks, not beside them, which can be a little vexing if you're not used to lots of people passing behind you while eating. ;) The advertisement guy (owner?) urged us to try one of the salads, which they were famous for, as he said, and we shared one salad bernaise for two persons - which was a very wise decision! It's basically not a salad, it's a huge bowl of fried potatoes and a large amount of bacon with some greens hidden under it. And two pieces of roasted bread with goats cheese on top, in this case. All of it was very good and though very hungry in the beginning we were both filled up at the end without even touching the bread served aside. Also nice offers for drinks during the happy hour and all the other food I saw at the tables around me looked really good, too. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in...
Read moreTerrible service and seating. The tables/chairs were put so close together that though the restaurant was completely empty it felt overcrowded. Everything was so cramped that one of us had to stand up every time the waitress had to pass through. But this was not the worst part. After that a big group of 8 people came in and instead of making some space between us and them, the staff seated them right next to us, so it became even more overcrowded, though the whole restaurant was empty. Then when we were leaving and told them that we were not happy about it, they told us that this was normal and it was only 4 of us, so that's why they cramped us so close together. And instead of apologizing they were very rude and arrogant. We will definitely not go there again and do not recommend it to anyone. The food is nothing special so it is worth the effort and the...

A small French bistro. Very cosy, very welcoming staff and atmosphere. We tried the foie gras pate and country style terrain, which was amazing, served with freshly cut baguette, you can't go wrong. The snails were yumm. Wee took them for the novelty of it.
Then we ordered the French onion soup, Wow! It was so tasty, just the right amount of cheese and crouton, and the broth was full of flavour and delicious. The streak tartare was one of the nicest we've eaten on our tri. Itt was well seasoned. Then we shared a creme brùlée, one of the I've definitely had. Full of body, and vanilla. Perfect sugar crust and they weren't shy on the amount of custard you got either.
The staff were extremely friendly and recommended some very nice wines for us...
