The atmosphere of this restaurant was stunning! It felt like a quintessential night in Paris. Not only was it beautiful but the service was incredible, and I think that this was largely because of the owner’s participation in managing, serving, and hosting. Une perle rare nichée au cœur de Paris ! Le Café Poète est un véritable joyau, alliant élégance et poésie dans un cadre d'exception. Situé entre l'avenue Franklin Roosevelt et les Champs-Élysées, ce bistrot chic capture à merveille l'essence même de la vie parisienne.

Sa cuisine, mêlant subtilement saveurs italiennes et françaises, est un véritable festin pour les sens. L'ambiance qui règne ici est tout simplement envoûtante, que ce soit pour un dîner entre amis, un brunch en amoureux ou simplement une pause détente en plein milieu de journée. Le Café Poète offre une expérience gastronomique et humaine hors du commun, où chaque moment est précieux.

Sa terrasse, son bar et ses salons intimistes sont autant d'invitations à la conversation et à la convivialité. On s'y attarde volontiers, refaisant le monde autour d'un verre de vin argentin le Niña soigneusement sélectionné, accompagné d'une délicieuse terrine de campagne ou d'un cocktail signature tel que le Spleen Margarita, parfaitement assorti aux Arancini. Les Paccheri Gratinati fourrés au bœuf et à la ricotta sont une véritable révélation, tout comme le fondant au chocolat, divinement coulant...

Surprised by the good reviews - the food is average at best. Chicken was too dry, cauliflower starter was mushy and soggy, salmon was fine but nothing to shout about, and the steak was average. It gets packed super quickly though at lunchtime even on a weekday! Cafe environment is nice and vibey though.
