To start with the positive sides, the food was great and really worth its price! I had the mixed "tartines", one with avocado & the other one with salmon, with 2 eggs that went along with the dish, which made the whole thing VERY filling! For 13,50€ I had that and a flat white with oat milk. Unfortunately, the coffee was really far from good 🙁 Tasting really watery & without much of a taste of coffee. The service was average, I had to repeat my order 3 times when ordering because the lady at the cash register didn't pay attention and my coffee arrived after my food did 🤔 Besides that, the place was veeery calm after 4:30pm (I arrived a bit before 4pm), so if you're looking for a calm place to read, this might be good for you. Otherwise, that's more of a personal preference, but the place is a bit too dark for my taste. While the majority of the chairs in the café don't have back support, I managed to snatch one of the few tables that had a comfortable one, so to keep in mind when coming too. All in all, there were parts I liked & parts I didn't. I'd come again if nothing else was open, but otherwise, not...
Read moreI went to Braun Notes because I read marvelous things about the brunch and the coconut bowl. I came there sunday at 10:00 am. My experience was awful. They don’t serve brunch or coconut before 11:00-12:00 (and coconut bowls were ready, but it is only part of the brunch), and you dont know that until you are there. My only option was to order cookie or cakes (not fresh). So... if the brunch is not ready, you can not order toast or any kind of bowls. Juices and cakes just regular. If you drink tea lattes, forget about it. Maybe my bad experience was one of a hundred, but if I am a tourist, it was my last day in Paris and I had this place on my list... Just imagine how do i feel? Next time in Paris I won’t go back to this place. (At the end of the breakfast, we tasted a coconut bowl express as an exception. I appreciate but it was too late). And I am not going to recommend anybody. Dont understand the rating over 4 stara. In 4 days in Paris, it has been my...
Read morei love their food and coffee. especially for the hazelnut coffee, very unique, you cannot find it anywhere else in paris. brownie is also delicious, the combination with peanut butter is marvelous.
however their instagram session is crazy. it was literally intolerable. i guess the owner hired some influencers or photographers to take the pictures and promote the café, but it was really too much.
they occupied entire bar, one table just next to the bar and another table at terrace. some customers should have left since there were no tables because of them.
and the way they organized shooting was also chaotic, they just walked around everywhere in the café, being so loud, standing up on the chair with their shoes, etc. it just ruined general ambiance in the café.
especially the white girl, she was shooting while “sitting”on the bar table …. girl, someone will use...
