Chez Miki — Restaurant in Paris

I went to this place based on its great reviews. DO NOT GO!! It's the worst meal I've ever had in my life and everyone in my reservation was sick. First of all the menu is only in French and they do not have an English menu, secondly the guy who served us couldn't be bothered explaining each item on the menu so he just brought out whatever he wanted. Every dish was drenched in fatty oil and revolting creamy sauce. We all instantly felt ill and were ill for hours. The place is cramped and you cannot move, it is the size of a bathroom and they have squished in 4 tables, you are constantly waked by the waiter and the patrons moving about. The waiter was more interested in us finishing and leaving as soon as possible so he could seat his next food victims. It cost a fortune, we are hardly ordered anything, the food was full of fat and badly cooked, we were rushed, the place has zero ambiance. I love their japafrench spaghetti dishes. Fresh sashimi. Tons of fried or grilled hot plates. They're good servings to share... but when it's this good, get your own plates ☺️😂 Yes! It's a great place to share small plates and enjoy a long, delicious dinner with friends. I've even spied successful dates!

No fancy cocktails. They serve cold, Japanese beer and sake as you like, hot / cold.

Edit: the owner is sweet, answers any questions, offers great recommendations. There is another lady who is cold, off-putting... at first made me feel like leaving the restaurant with her attitude. Don't let that turn you off. It seems like that's her way... and this is one of those places where I'll let that kind of service pass...

FOOD POISONING!!! This was the worst experience I’ve had in Paris. I don’t understand how people are rating it well. I got food poisoned because of it. The food is not worth a single penny there, whereas it’s quite expensive. When you think the food is the worst part of this restaurant, you should see the service. They push you to eat fast and drink fast and leave in 45 minutes. They tried several times to remove our dishes while there was still food in them and we were still eating. At some point after we finished eating they asked us to finish our drinks quickly and leave as there are other people waiting. Well, if you don’t have the capacity to run such a restaurant, don’t run it. Other restaurants around the corner have long queues but don’t treat you with disrespect.
