Went there early afternoon with the intention to have lunch. We were welcomed by a waitress who gave us menus asked if we're going to have lunch (which we confirmed), seated us on a nice shadow table and served us a bottle of tap water. We reviewed the menu and asked if pasta contains eggs and if lazania contains eggs beacause my daughter has strong allergy against eggs. She was kind enough to go inside twice to ask, second time a man looking as the owner came to us, obviously annoyed, angry, being rude, holding a small cup of hard alcohol drink like vodka he started to complain about our questions saying thete are other restaurants nearby and then he added that kitchen is closed. Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at Chez Paolo. We started with the tomato burrata, then got the lasagna Bolognese, and the cheese pizza. The burrata was perfect, cut into it and it oozes out into the tomato’s. The lasagna was perfectly dense and the bolognese sauce was nicely balanced. The cheese pizza has Gorgonzola in it which have it a bit of a zing. To end things off we got the Tara Massu. I have had other Tara massi before, and this is the best one by far, creamy and light with a beautiful Chocolate flavor. Will recommend to anyone I know coming through Paris.
Service was friendly...
