Stopped by Classique for a quick cocktail during my first night in Paris and was quite impressed by the drinks and service!
Their Fall/Winter menu is a collection of twists on classi(que) cocktails that all sounded really delicious. I got the Classique Sour (pictured) and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was something along the lines of a normal whiskey sour/gimlet but with a really nice floral/fruity twist.
The service was also excellent. Quick, attentive, and kind whenever we needed something.
I enjoyed the aesthetics of the atmosphere, the only thing that brought my review down to 4 stars is the fact that the music was so loud that it made it difficult to converse with my partner (which is one of my cocktail bar pet peeves since I find conversation with friends at the bar and with the bartender to be an important part of the experience).

Read moreHonestly, cocktail bars don’t get much better than this. I am not a cocktail aficionado, but I asked the guy what is most similar to a mojito and he suggested something – it was fantastic. We had several more. Delicious. It’s in the top 500 cocktail bars in the world guide and I can see why. Great drinks vibe music service !

This is the type of place where I don’t want to blow up, but will likely blow up shortly.
I was staying at Hotel Rochechouart around the corner and was trying to find bread for a cheese and bread night w the GF late at night, and as a last resort I came here and they gave me a literal bag of bread to bring back to my hotel. Now that’s A+ service.
