Cozy Lebanese Restaurant with Instagram-Worthy Vibes – Eats Thyme Review
Ambiance: 4/5 Eats Thyme offers a cozy, Instagram-worthy interior that feels welcoming and stylish. However, the space can feel a bit tight during busy hours. On the plus side, there’s a convenient takeaway section on the other side, which is great for quick meals on the go.
Food: 3.5/5 We shared a variety of dishes, and while some stood out, others were average for the price. Here’s a breakdown:
Halloumi (14€) – 3/5 A solid starter with the classic halloumi taste, though nothing particularly memorable.
Fatayer Spinach (12€) – 2/5 A bit too dry compared to other fatayer I’ve tried. While the flavor wasn’t bad, the texture could be improved.
Taboulleh (12€) – 4/5 Authentic Lebanese taboulleh, fresh and vibrant. A great addition to the starters.
Kafta Sandwich (16€) – 4/5 This was the highlight! The kafta sandwich was flavorful and unique compared to other Lebanese sandwiches I’ve tried. The portion size is generous, making it perfect for sharing.
Overall Experience: While the food was enjoyable, the prices felt a bit steep for the quality offered. That said, the cozy atmosphere and convenient takeaway section make it worth a visit, especially if you’re craving Lebanese flavors in a stylish setting.
Key Notes:
Best for small groups or takeaway meals Highly recommend the Kafta Sandwich and Taboulleh Cozy, Instagram-worthy interior but slightly tight seating A bit pricey for the...

Now to the review… I have never been more disappointed, is the owner even Lebanese?! First of all, the atmosphere and the service extremely disgraceful. I felt unwelcome from the moment I walked in. The young blonde waitress was very rude, did not give us time to look at the menu properly, kept coming back, touring around us desperately after I said I needed more time. We hadn’t even been there for 5 minutes. We could hear the manager asking her if we had ordered so pressuring her as well to come get our order. The place was far from busy or full capacity. So what was the reason? Our questions were met with an annoyed face and tone. The food was absolutely nothing special, definitely not some “new retwisted Lebanese food”. The main dish (most expensive) extremely-extremely small. I regret not having walked out on arrival (my actual sentiment) instead of ordering not to be rude since we were already sitting down. I asked for the check, I was never told I had to pay at the bar, I was left waiting and eventually called...
