Etoile Gourmet 聚福楼 — Restaurant in Paris

During my trip in Paris, this restaurant was one that truly took me by surprise. The food was delicious and the host did a great job with hospitality. They greeted us upon entering and placed us in the most comfortable table in the restaurant (we choose a table at first and they recommended our group, of 6, to a more spacious and comfortable table). They were very patient allowing us to fully look at their menu since their menu was pretty extensive with variety, may I add. When placing our order they were very helpful with recommendations, plus wellness to accommodate special requests with certain dishes. Their 5 spice roast duck (delicious by itself but even better with the pancakes and toppings we were able to be provided with as well) and Szechuan chili chicken (cooked to a slight crispiness and even comes with dried chilis and raw Thai chili peppers) were both the highlight dishes for what we ate. Wonderful experience chez Janny! Their foods were sooooo delicious, the price is relevant. They have the best springroll in Paris! I also tried their "poulet citronnelle" today after Janny's suggestion, the chicken was crispy, with a sauce accompany. After the main course, I tried their tapioca, it was coconut milk with little chewy pearl inside, with sliced fresh banana and mango on top! Je mange comme un couchon! We dropped in when we were out for an all day walk exploring. The menu looked good, the restaurant was busy so we went for it. We were served quickly and they made room for us. The plate of food that we had was the most tasty that we’ve had for a long, long time. Accompanied by a couple of ice cold beers. This place is an absolute joy.
