Inagiku — Restaurant in Paris

Overall it was good though for the price i would expect better...

The chef was friendly and professional and wagyu was delicious.

On the other hand... i did not think it was worth the 99eur price tag. I would say that the best part was the wagyu. The other aspects of the meal were good.

I would say that i was disappointed by the service. The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait 20min to be seated (which is fine). However the server was quite agitated and it felt like they wer ordering us and other people to move in an unpleasant tone. They did not prioritise people who were here first and did not keep track of the arrivals or if they did, they did not cordinate.

It might be a bit harsh to give a 2 star rating but the most worrisome part was that the service was quite rushed and therefore they did not see that one of the servers (long) hair dipped into the amuse-bouche before serving to customers of the...

The restaurant offers an okay atmosphere, but it leans quite touristy with minimal decorations. There’s a slight sense of being rushed, though the staff makes a genuine effort to counteract that and ensure a pleasant experience. The food is good, but not outstanding, with decent menu choices. The chef, however, adds a touch of entertainment and expertise to the meal, which is a highlight. Unfortunately, not everything is prepared on the Teppanyaki grill items like rice and gyoza are made separately, which feels like a missed opportunity. While the restaurant works hard to mask its factory-like vibe, it doesn’t fully succeed.

For the price, I'd say this is a 3.5 star Japanese restaurant but I've given it a three as it really doesn't deserve a 4-star rating.

Why?

Well, it does some sushi, but very little, and it had two set menus with a third more encompassing menu on top, but they all share the same core dishes.

The food is very good, don't get me wrong, and the teppanyaki chefs do a good job, but the lack of choice and the lack of "theatre" and interaction at the teppanyaki tables result in a lower score.

The prices aren't massively cheap either, but if you want teppanyaki, this is the place as they only have...
