AVOID this place at all costs!!! The WORST service ever!!!

The young female server was SUPER RUDE!!!

There weren’t too many people and the service was slow to begin with. We wanted to order a menu special dish. On the special menu, it did not indicate when this dish is served. This server informed us that they do not serve the dish in the evening. Then I asked whether they have any similar dishes that they do serve in the evening and that she could recommend. The server then grew very impatient. She said that there are things in the menu, and she left me reading the menu, while she turned around and do some other things. The one fresh fruit drink I wanted was not available. So I asked whether any of the drinks on another page of the menu was made of fresh fruit (it was not clear on the menu). This server got very mad at me, and again very impatiently told me to read the menu by myself and walked away for something else. When the food arrived, she was basically throwing food on the table. She did not put any of the food I ordered in front of me, but deliberately ignored me.

We were not given any water, unlike other tables. And the server rushed us to leave for multiple times, while that was not the case for the other table.

The food was okay, but there are many restaurants with food of similar taste and much better service. My friend found a white hair in the Mille-feuille...

No service mind. The food, beverage and dessert is tasteless. For the same food, we can find many better places in Paris with the same price. People just come here to talk and sit for a long time. We are three and order a lot of food that is not fit the small table for two. The waiter didn't care to move us to the bigger table when it is available. It is obvious that the restaurant is badly managed. I don't recommend this place at all. This is my first and last time...

Une carte très attrayante mais nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu y goûter...

Nous demandons une table pour 4 personnes. Malheureusement le café est complet, on nous demande donc d'attendre.

Après une quinzaine de minutes, nous nous apercevons qu'une table de 4 est occupée par des enfants seuls. Il s'est avéré que c'était ceux d'une des serveuses. Soit, nous pouvons comprendre qu'elle ait eu des difficultés à les faire garder un dimanche mais ceux-ci occupaient une table à un moment de forte affluence. Nous observons par ailleurs qu'un groupe de 2 personnes, arrivées avant nous, ne s'est fait prendre sa commande qu'à ce moment là. Ce qui laissait présager de la rapidité du service...

Nous demandons donc au serveur s'il a une idée du temps d'attente restant. Il nous répond sèchement, "je n'en sais rien !". Suite à cela, il nous invite à quitter l'établissement.

Voici comment s'est déroulée notre expérience au Guimi House de République. Nous n'y remettrons évidemment pas les pieds !

Nous avions pleinement conscience qu'en venant un dimanche après-midi, il nous faudrait sûrement attendre pour avoir une table. C'est davantage le comportement négligent et le ton "je-m'en-foutiste" employé par le serveur, nous faisant perdre notre temps, qui me conduisent à ne donner qu'une seule étoile à...
