Il Sorrentino — Restaurant in Paris

I was suppose to give this a five star just right after we left the Resturant but I got busy and glad I had a week before writing a review. My father in law got food poising from one of the dishes he ate (seafood speggati) he did say the seafood didn’t taste right and less than 48 hours he was not well. The other person didn’t feel well because we had two dishes but didn’t have a sever reaction. We have sent an email to the Resturant awaiting reply. My in-laws are a regular here, they said this Resturant is one of their fav and was way amazing before Covid. They showed me the photo on the wall was of a city in Italy! The firrito do calamar is their fav! If your dining here try it! The Resturant is in a well known location we walked from victor hugo to reach there on foot for the experience around 40min walk! Took some photos to share. It’s probebly a one time incident don’t take this post to heart and if your welling to go there do reserve because it was packed and some people were late for their table and couldn’t get seated we were late 13min only and managed to get our table. Great and fast service! Note that the butter they have with the bread is one of the best! They are wrapped like candy! PS: they don’t have anymore the big pizza margaritas they only have minis and per order is 4minis two margarita and two truffle good...

We only had two days in Paris and had to try and make the best of our trip. Day 1 was Disney Paris and day two was the city. We left Disney and made our way to the city. Started by walking to grab lunch while our room was ready. Then took the Big Red Bus to try and make the best of our day. Hit all major places and avoided the rain and did a river cruise . Then it was time for dinner and we came across this place! WOW what a great way to finish off our night in Paris. We waked in and the place already had a nice crowd. The room was set up prefect and the staff was very accommodating right off the start even though we had no reservations they made room for 5 of us. From the appetizers to te main dishes and desserts and drinks they were all a culinary treat. Staff was great, dishes were plated beautifully and the food was delicious. 10/10 for sure and I don’t say that often. Not that I’m a critic but I’ve had my fare share and this place nailed it in every aspect. I hate to raise the bar but tonight they did a great job and we appreciated all of it. When in Paris give them a try. Reservations are I’m sure appreciated but trust me you will no be sorry you tried...

Schlechtestes und überteuertes essen was Ich jemals gegessen habe. Angefangen bei der Cola die 0,33 l beinhaltet hat 8€ Gekostet, ich habe 2 bestellt also 16€ für 2 kleine Cola, normal wäre 4€ hab ich schon öfter in beliebten Cafés, restaurants und selbst im eiffelturm gekauft. Dann habe ich Mini Pizzen bestellt, statt 2 Margherita und 2 Trüffel hab ich 4 mal Margherita genommen, habe kein Preis Nachlass bekommen ob wohl der Trüffel das wertvollste von dem ganzen ist, die Pizzen waren nicht einmal gut, sie waren sehr sehr klein für einen preis von 24€. Daraufhin kamen dann unsere Nudeln mit Garnelen, die Nudeln waren mehr als hart, dadurch waren sie ungenießbar und sehr wenig, bischen harte Nudeln lass ich mir gefallen, aber die waren so hart das man sich selbst für ein Italienisches Restaurant sich schämen sollte sowas anzubieten für 25€, da waren nur 5 daumen große Garnelen aufs Teller wovon 2 roh waren, tut mir leid, ich komme aus Italien, meine Familie betreiben mehrere Restaurants und in Deutschland war ich auch in mehrere Italienischen Restaurants aber habe noch nie so schlecht und überteuert gegessen, sowas ist einfach nur abzocke und den Instagram und TikTok fame auszunutzen der eigentlich garnicht so richtig auf dem Essen gerichtet ist sondern nur bei gutem Wetter hat man auf der Terrasse den eiffelturm in Sicht, mehr macht das restaurant nicht aus, der Kellner war aber ziemlich freundlich und hilfreich, ich habe daraufhin in anderen italienischen Restaurants gegessen, da war es viel besser, unteranderem war ich auch bei der zweit besten Pizzeria der Welt essen und die nutzen deren Reichweite nicht aus und halten die Preise in normalen paris Standard auf. Im Restaurant war es auch ziemlich kalt weil die fenstertüren nicht ganz dicht waren und Wind durch gekommen ist. Glauben Sie mir, für 90€ für das wenige essen bekommen Sie überall in Paris mindestens das doppelte und besseres Essen. Bin einfach nur geschockt, und das war nicht nur bei mir so die Erfahrungen vom schlechten Essen, habe andere Tische beobachten können wie sie ebenfalls auf das Essen schlecht reagiert haben. Ich warne euch lieber, geht in nem anderen Restaurant essen da werdet ihr besser bedient, ich habe kein problem mit dem Personal oder ähnlichem, ich habe nur das problem mit den Preisen und dem essen, dabei hab ich auch das Personal angeboten wegen den Pizzen un die Cola und als Ausrede kam eigentlich nicht raus "Ja die Pizza Margherita ist genauso teuer" obwohl der Trüffel nur über die Margherita gerieben wird und meinetwegen ohne Käse, aber das bisschen Käse was drauf war hätte niemals so viel wie der Trüffel gekostet und niemals dürften diese Pizzen überhaupt so viel kosten, hat mir leicht den Eindruck von tiefkühl Pizzen gegeben da der Teig nicht so schön ungleichmäßig sanft war, sondern überall genau gleich hunt leicht hart so wie das Innere vom Rand war nicht flauschig sondern zusammengezogen und hart, musste tatsächlich auch mal Tiefkühl pizza essen und kann sagen das es ziemlich ähnlich ist.
