Sancerre Rive Gauche — Restaurant in Paris

Food was good. Service took some time. Had some nice bread with delicious ricotta cheese and herbs (a must try for home). It was not until half way through our meal that our server brought us more bread. By that time, the cheese was eaten with a spoon... The Vegetariana Pizza was a decent size for almost EUR 14. Good selections of veggies. The heart-shape made it nice. Pasta and lasagna were relatively small, but delicious. Looking at about EUR 15 a piece. With regards to service, when we arrived, the server was on his cell phone. He spent a little too much time at first one and off on his cell phone during our visit. Atmosphere was very nice. Small and intimate. For weekends, probably need dinner reservation. Couple hundred meters from the Eiffel. Public street parking is EUR 4 per hour. ...

Wonderful, fresh Italian food, just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. It is hard to find good quality restaurants in busy tourist area, but Su Misura is the exception. We ate here 3 times, and each item we tried was delicious. The antipasti platter was wonderful, grilled vegetables, cheese, meats, etc. They start with an amuse bouche which changes according to what is fresh that day.

The pizza is heart-shaped, and delicious. The owner, Ciro, was very accommodating. I trusted him to prepare a special dinner for my group on 12, and only told him my budget, which was 50Euro per person, including wine, dessert and coffee. We were amazed at the 5 course meal that followed. Amuse bouche, antipasti, salad, veal and pasta dish, dessert with coffee, and very decent wine.

While staying in the 7th ARR in Paris, we had the fortune of dining at Sancerre on a Monday. The restaurant has an understated, and upscale vibe. Love the green walls and the mixture of artwork.

The bar is modest but has nice liquor choices. Their wine list is loaded with quality options, we selected a white from Loire. Delicious. The menu has just the right amount of options. My wife and I had the Chilled Sea Beam and the Green Asparagus and Poached egg…both delicious. My main was the Spaghetti with Truffle Cream (it was so good that I had to stop from eating too much) and my wife had the Chicken with Morel Cream. Excellent choices.
