Su Misura is a charming gluten-free exclusive restaurant that offers a personalized dining experience with lovely outdoor seating and a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the stylish yet cozy ambiance. The soft lighting, elegant decor, and friendly staff set the stage for a memorable evening. The service at Su Misura was exceptional. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and very accommodating. Knowing that every dish was gluten-free put me at ease and allowed me to indulge without worry. The outdoor seating added a delightful touch, with a serene atmosphere, a gentle breeze, and the breathtaking sight of the Eiffel Tower enhancing our dining experience. After much deliberation, I decided to order the gluten-free ravioli, while my dining companion opted for the gluten-free Bolognese. The ravioli was a revelation. The gluten-free pasta was perfectly al dente, stuffed with a rich and savory ricotta filling. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors, enhanced by a light, aromatic tomato sauce, and a sprinkling of fresh basil. It was evident that only high-quality ingredients were used, and the balance of flavors was impeccable. The gluten-free Bolognese was equally impressive. The sauce was robust and hearty, with tender ground meat and a medley of vegetables cooked to perfection. Served over a bed of gluten-free pasta, it was a comforting and satisfying dish that showcased the chef's skill and attention to detail. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake, which was rich and decadent, with a velvety texture that melted in the mouth. It was the perfect way to conclude a fantastic dining experience. Overall, Su Misura exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious, thoughtfully prepared food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere with the added charm of outdoor seating and a view of the Eiffel Tower makes it a must-visit. I will definitely be returning to explore more of their...
Read moreI want to start by saying that I’m not gluten intolerant, but my husband is celiac, so we chose this spot to celebrate his birthday. We are mainly gf in our household. That being said- The atmosphere is adorable but, the whole experience, turned out to be a huge disappointment. We ordered a margherita pizza and carbonara pasta, and both dishes fell flat. The pizza lacked flavor, the thin crust wasn’t where it’s at. and the pasta was underseasoned, with ham that just wasn’t appetizing. I ate the majority because we were hungry, but we’ve had far better meals at every other place we’ve visited.
Frankly, we’re baffled by the high reviews—it doesn’t add up. This experience has convinced us to avoid dining in touristy areas moving forward. It seems some guests might be so thrilled to be in France that they’re overly generous with their ratings, but for us, it wasn’t worth the time or money.
Even the appetizer—cheese was ‘bleh’ with homemade gluten-free bread—was a letdown. The bread was subpar; honestly, we’ve had better gluten-free bread and pasta from Carrefour. I hate leaving negative reviews like this, but I feel it’s important for others to know these ratings might not reflect reality. We’re not food critics; we were just hoping for a decent meal, and sadly, this didn’t deliver.
One more thing: we made a 9:40 PM reservation, but when we arrived, we were told we had to order immediately because the kitchen closes at 10 but the restaurant is open till 11. If that’s the case, why even allow such late reservations? It felt rushed and took away from what should have been a...
Read moreToday, we spent another beautiful day in Paris, though with a minor inconvenience. Near the Eiffel Tower, I was delighted to discover this lovely little gluten-free restaurant, and my whole family was willing to accompany me... or so we thought. There were five of us in total, and we were happy to see that all the outdoor tables were free, but there were also tables available inside. At the door, a sensible waitress informed us that it was a gluten-free restaurant. I said that was great—that’s why we came—and it didn’t matter whether we sat inside or outside.
She asked if we would be eating. I replied that three of us would eat, while the other two would just have drinks. Well, that caused a problem, and the restaurant manager came over. She also explained that this was a gluten-free restaurant—a restaurant—where people come to eat. I told her again that it was wonderful, and three of us would eat and drink plenty, while the other two would only have drinks. She repeated that this was a restaurant, and if we just wanted drinks, we should go elsewhere. At that point, I gave up, and we left.
I’m really sorry because it was a nice place, and we were hungry. Fortunately, this was our first...
