The pizzas and Tronchetto were very good, unfortunately we had many discussions with an Italian waitress that made our dinner not pleasant and created an atmosphere of anger and tension.
1: As there were many people waiting, after 20 minutes waiting, I had to take care of our own drinks and pizza order. As nobody was bringing us the drinks I had to take them directly from the fridge. 2: After 1 hour of waiting I have asked the waitress if it was possible to have something to eat, the waitress showed me her forearm and said "if you want you can eat this" with a serious face. I have found this answer not funny and not professional at all. 3: Once our pizzas arrived, we noticed one mistake, there was one pizza with ham instead of a simple Margherita. My friend asked if it was possible to have another new normal margherita instead of the wrong one as she doesn't eat ham at all and she doesn't like animal fat and the same italian waitress answered that there was no issue with that taking the pizza with her. The waitress went down stair and after 2 minutes she came back with the same pizza without ham. 4: at the end of the dinner they tried to charge twice the beverage without any explanation 5: they didn't apologise for any of the inconvenients happened during the service.
Good pizza but service...
Read morePlease, stay away from this place. We had chosen this restaurant for a family meal, and were treated with dishonesty, malice, and to put it blatantly : discrimination. The owner decided to make jokes to the neighbor table about how his nation is “his friend, whilst the nation of [our] table is not his friend”. He then wanted us to pay for our dinner in cash, whilst the Western American Caucasian family next to us was allowed to pay in card. To conclude, he had promised our children (who are 10 and 13 years old) ice cream as a gift if they finished the pizza, which they did, and then nonchalantly shrugged his promise off when we insisted to pay by card rather than cash - what, because we aren’t Western Caucasians and speak a language other than English/French ?! Our children were very sad about this. Overall this difference in treatment was a humiliation for our family, and left us with a bitter feeling on the tongue when leaving the table… It’s 2024. Such behavior cannot be tolerated. Please sir, if you ever read this : be more human, it’s people like you who openly allow different privileges to different people that perpetuate discrimination and injustice, in a world that is already fractured enough… Bottom line...
Read more1/5! Do not recommend! Please don’t go to this place. The owner was a bigot. He openly voiced his retrograded opinions about different cultures. For example, he told other customers that we were not from a nation he liked, and also quickly changed his opinions after he asked us where we were from and heard what language we spoke. He insisted that we pay with cash when he allowed another party to pay with either cash or card IN FRONT OF US. When we saw the card reader, we asked to pay with card, and yet he kept refusing. We also had children in our party, and he promised them gelatos. After he found out our heritage, he rudely refused to give them to the children. This is horrible behavior and can’t be allowed in today’s society. Children should not grow up being discriminated against. Do not go here unless you want a ruined...
