Read moreI recently dined at Joya, just a ten-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, and it was an outstanding experience. The atmosphere and decor were stunning, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. The staff, including both the servers and the chef, were exceptionally friendly and attentive.
The seating was a little tight, but the beautiful setup added to the charm of the place. Our server was particularly helpful, speaking English, French, and Spanish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Another great aspect was the complimentary water and bread, a nice touch that enhanced the overall positive experience.
Despite its prime location, the food arrived quickly. Our meal took only about 10 minutes, and a neighboring table of four received their food in just 15 minutes. The drinks were a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in Paris. The food was reasonably priced given the portion sizes and the restaurant’s proximity to such a famous landmark. I highly recommend any of the pizzas and the pasta, though they are best shared due to their generous portions.
I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a spot at this popular establishment. Overall, I would definitely return and suggest this gem to anyone...
Read moreMy friends and I made a lunch reservation at 1:30pm, and we arrived on time. We ordered pizza and pasta and they were served at 2pm, which was just okay. But, 30 minutes later, the server came and told us to hurry up and finish eating because the lunch service ends at 3pm. And he kept hovering around us making unnecessary noises and bothering our time there. He gave an impression he was annoyed because we were taking so long at the table. but we’ve had only 30min to have our lunch at the moment. The guy staff was gonna even take our plates away before we finished eating. He was so rude. I don't understand why the restaurant takes reservations at 1:30pm if they want to kick customers out so quickly. We left in a bad mood before we could finish our food. When I complained to another server, she said she also didn’t understand the system either. It was ridiculous that staffs didn’t understand how their restaurant was being managed. What kind of restaurant would kick customers out before they finish eating? Customers have a right to finish food with enough time no matter what. It’s just ridiculous. This restaurant needs to improve...
