My girlfriend and I stopped in for some wine and a snack after a long day of being a tourist. We were served promptly and the wine was good.

When I went to the toilette, the waiter came to our table and insisted that my girlfriend pay the bill because he was leaving for dinner. She paid with a 20 euro bill that had a tear in it. He returned to say the bill was unacceptable. Then he waited by the table until I returned. I gave him an "acceptable" bill (which I used 30 minutes later in a grocery store). So for fun, we stayed to see if he left for dinner. 25 minutes later we left and he was still there serving. He actually seated two other customers after that incident.

Was it because we were foreigners? Not French? I don't know. We were sitting outside and I would have happily given him a credit card to make sure we didn't bolt. But instead he...

These people are thives. The wine we ordered was 8 euros. We ordered two glasses of wine and we paid 21. On the bill we saw that we were charged about 2 euros for tax per glass. The wines were not 8 in the bill either (it was higher). You have to show me how much i will pay accurately in the menu and it is even illegal in many countries. Even if it is legal in France it is not ethical at all. We spent 10 days and have been to many restaurants and cafes, but this was the only one with this unethical approach. One other thing that shocked us was that a young girl wanted to use the bathroom, waiter didnt let her (understandable). She wanted to pay, he didnt accept. She wanted to buy something and the waiter said "only you will drink and all your friends will use it?" She said "no, only me". Even then he said "no, we are closing". How inhumane...

Drop by this place for a drink, we order 2 Cappuccino and 2 Latte Frappe, wife ask 1 of the waitress whether can bring her a cup of water, the waitress ask back whether we have place our order, wife reply yes as we already order our coffee, and she ask us to wait and we waited, no water serve and finally our coffee arrive.

1 of the Cappuccino, as you can see in the picture, half coffee half foam, and the coffee really tasteless, 8 euro for a cup of tasteless Cappuccino. We finish our drink and ask for payment, the waiter bring us the bill, throw on our table and walk away, I waited and nobody came over for payment, end up I walk over the front for payment.

Frankly, I don't feel being respected as a customer. Please take my advice, don't waste 8 euro in this place for a tasteless coffee. Even coffee from McD tastes 100...
