We had only 50 minutes to eat fast lunch, because we had to catch our flight. The restaurant just opened and we were the first guests in lunch time. The interior is absolutely amazing and authentic, you can feel yourself totally in the real Paris. The waiter was very helpful, the service was fast and precise. As I see, I think this would be a family restaurant. They really work hard and trying to give something special for their guests. But they absolutely don’t know the healthy way of cooking to our sorrow. The dry white wine was perfect. I tried their fish soup what was similar as a Hungarian Fisherman’s soup made by sea fish. Good, but interesting. Only the cheese on it was poor quality. For main dish we ordered one Duck cassoulet and a Salmon with veggies. The cassoulet was little tasteless and the duck leg was dropped into deep fryer (I don’t know why) so that was totally oily. And please. The very good quality fresh salmon fillet also was dropped in the fryer instead of grill or anything else. It was a horrible mistake... The desserts are also poor quality We gently mentioned this for the waitress. After that the chef come out from the kitchen, inquired about our problem only for constructive criticism. That was a huge good point! I really hope that this restaurant can improve itself in the near future.

I’m speechless with this place. A friend had a really really really high praise for this place, so I decided to give it a try and it turned out to be a great disappointment. My friend ordered the onion soup and thought it was very greasy. The fish soup was nothing special, but both soup are in good portion. The snails are probably the best out of all we’ve tried in this place. Very delicious and the juice of the snails made great combination with the bread. The worst part was the duck confit. I felt like I was chewing on a chunk of salt, very salty. The potato chips was boring or even below average. My friend usually could finish all the chips but she didn’t even bother this time(she is a big fan of fried food). The creme brulee for desert was ok. It was not too sweet, so we finished the small treat at the end to wash down the saltiness of our main. Notably, the service was really good. The host could speak some English and still kindly took us 30 minutes before their closing time. If not for the service, I’d probably give this place 1 star.

This was by far the worst restaurant I have been in my entire life. We went for dinner in 5 and ordered two onion soups and three bavette with fries and salad - very basic food. Three people were served 45 minutes after the order was initially made. The meat was so hard to be impossible to chew. The other two people were served over 30 minutes later, when the others had finished their meals. The third bavette had multiple cuts at the top and was completely raw. The fries were not the typical thin french frites (which the first two people had), but large chips from a frozen pack. The accompanying sauce bernaise was missing and was never taken to the table, despite us asking for it repeatedly. Eventually, the waiter came to apologize and said they had a problem in the kitchen. They did not even offer a complimentary dessert but just removed the last bavette from the bill. These people are true jokers. Refrain from visiting! Please see photos below of the menu. Rumsteck pave is the meat we ordered

After a long walk around the area my dining partner and I decided to eat here because the price was attractive. We would have liked to have gotten a menu item but we were not particularly interested in the desserts on offer. We decided to save them the trouble of preparing one and still pay full price as it was still a good deal even without 1/3rd of what we would’ve ordered. After we picked an entree and main from the set menu, we were told then that we could not order like this since the price per head is too low and the waiter was alone and thus too busy. If we were just a single customer then we could order a single menu but we had to order something else since we were two but we could share a dessert if we wanted to... Ok, acceptable, we obliged and started to decide on a second item as per the waiters unwritten policy. We politely asked if we could have a moment to decide what to get and he seemed impatient and walked off without a word. We had to ask for service after 5 minutes just to order. When the waiter asked if we would like anything to drink, he commented that we were ā€œso tightā€ after we asked for just tap water. Is tap water not good enough or do we have to order drinks on top of the extra item we were told we had to get?

To make things worse, the tables around us got bottles of tap water while we only had empty glasses. We had to ask for water again once our food arrived. When we got my meal, I found a small piece of steel wire while chewing. We said we didn’t want anything at all for compensation but we let them know out of courtesy, and the waiter came later and without an apology he said ā€œ lucky you didn’t swallow itā€ and thanked us. Yes, Lucky me!

After finishing the food we said we did not want a dessert, just the bill, and the waiter presumed we were trying to get a discount. He kept saying ā€œI cannot do anything about the menu priceā€ even after I said we would pay the full price.

One star ā€˜cause the food was acceptable. A stressful hour and a half from standoffish staff for what was supposed to be a quick bite to...

Really uncomfortable and deeply upsetting treatment by the staff, tourists please avoid. The staff very openly made fun of myself and my friend right beside our table for taking too long to order (10 minutes) then continued to do so after ordering when we sat in silence due to how uncomfortable we were made to feel. I ended up leaving early despite ordering, as I felt so uncomfortable, although I nonetheless paid for the full meal via my companion. The staff seemed to think my departure was due to a personal matter between my friend and I, and not as a result of their treatment. Didn't even get to taste the food despite paying, most uncomfortable and upsetting dining experience I've had in Paris, never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant. The staff seemed to believe that because we spoke poor french, we couldn't see them very openly making fun of us beside our table. If you want to gossip about your customers, at least do it in private. Left the establishment in tears. EDIT: This isn't an exaggeration of the events, and I very rarely leave negative reviews relating to staff behaviour, but this treatment made us both feel very uncomfortable, and we've never experienced it in another restaurant. Also 'blackmail threat'? We both just wanted an apology or some explanaation for the situation, as the staff seemed unaware that we could overhear them right beside our table, and thus how uncomfortable they were...
