L'Auberge du Roi Gradlon — Restaurant in Paris

Me and my partner went in for a lunch. The chef(the owner?) was very hospitable even tho he was super busy doing everything on his own, welcoming, cooking, serving and entertaining us and other 3 more tables at the time. He took the time to explain the menus in English as our french is really bad. Good portion size and reasonable price. All dishes we had were so good. I had a scallop carpaccio, which was well seasoned and tasty and a lovely fillet steak which was the best and the most succulent steak I have ever had in Paris. It was shame that we didn’t have time to try the desserts, looked so delicious. I will definitely visit next time go to Paris....

We had an absolutely lovely evening. My mom celebrated her birthday and the very nice waiter surprised the whole group with free champagne! The food was very (!) delicious. Compliments for the chef. All together we had a great evening due to the lovely waiter who really interacted with us but was never too much, and due to the great chef. Thanks a lot. And will highly recommend this...

I booked a table here for two. We arrived exactly on time and the waiter showed us to our table. He was a very nice guy. The gripe I have is that people who arrived after us had their orders taken and their food served before us. The menu is quite short and the food is good but the wait for it was unprofessional in my opinion which spoiled it a bit. Two courses in two hours,...
