Disappointing Experience at Irishman Cafe Bar

I recently visited Irishman Cafe Bar in Paris and ordered the "planche charcuterie". Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The meat was stale, lacked flavor, and seemed far from fresh. The presentation was just as bad—served on a round plate with a random assortment of charcuterie thrown together with no thought or care. To make matters worse, there was a small bar of butter but no bread included. I had to ask for bread separately, which should have been a basic accompaniment.

All of this came at a price of 17 euros, which is simply unbelievable for the poor quality and lack of attention to detail. I can’t fathom why this item is even on their menu. It’s a massive mistake and not something I’d recommend to anyone.

Save your money and your appetite—this dish is not worth it.

Mise à jour : Je suis stupéfait par la réponse du propriétaire, qui choisit de rabaisser mes remarques en se concentrant sur des points totalement hors sujet, comme la forme de l’assiette ou le « beurre en supplément » – des éléments que je n’ai jamais critiqués. Mon problème concernait la mauvaise qualité des produits, le manque de soin dans leur préparation, et le prix déraisonnable pour ce qui était servi. C’est décevant de voir qu’au lieu de répondre à ces problèmes légitimes, la réponse tente de tourner mon expérience...
