I recently dined at this restaurant in Paris, and I have to say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. We ordered escargot (29 euros) and 32 cl of wine (28 euros) to share between two people, expecting a small carafe and two glasses. Instead, the waiter brought us a single glass of red wine filled to the brim. When I inquired about the carafe, he curtly replied that there was none. Really? In France, who serves wine this way?
I asked for another wine glass, hoping to at least split the wine between us. The waiter returned with another full glass instead of just bringing an empty one. Rather than arguing further, we drank our “bottle” of wine split between two glasses, alongside a mediocre appetizer and some stale bread.
The final bill? A staggering 93 euros for a very underwhelming experience. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were not worth the high price. I strongly advise against coming here—there are far better options in Paris that offer authentic French dining without the pretentiousness and poor service. Save your money and...
Read moreOur waiter was very tolerant of my ignorance of language and cuisine. The kitchen was competent and efficient. We got there just before the lunch rush but we did not feel rushed. It was good to relax and enjoy after a hard morning of shopping, LOL. The busy staff was patient and attentive. Our only disappointment was that they were not serving escargot that day. That is, until the check came. 9 euros for iced tea? Maybe I did not under stand the check. Admittedly, that tea was absolutely, perfectly spiced - subtle, refreshing, and delicious, AND they have to pay rent on a street that has All the leading fashion houses represented, including top fragrance labs. Rent must be astronomical. If it's a tourist trap, I was as willing prisoner. Definitely one of the best meals during our...
Read moreI actually want to give no stars at all, but that doesn't seem to be an option for Google. The racist waiter there was only friendly to French people (there was a French, who happened to be also very rude, sitting near our table and the waiter was all friendly to him while being very rude to us) and shows absolutely no respect for other customers. He actually pulled a face on us. The service is terrible, and it looked as if they have no idea what service even means. No respect for customers at all. And that cocky waiter, thinking that we don't understand French at all, charged us an outrageous amount for his tip. If you want to waste your time and money in experiencing just how rude the Parisians can be, I think this is your...
