One of the waitress was racist！Just checked out of the store and feeling quite upset. The food was tasty, and we had a nice atmosphere sitting by the window. Just the waitress seemed annoyed because I accidentally dropped a knife at the beginning. But it was fine. Everything was fine until it was time to pay. We noticed that everyone around us was paying by credit card, with the waiter bringing the POS machine to their tables. So, we also requested to pay by card. However, the waitress asked us to scan the QR code on the table to pay. When we tried it, we found an additional service fee. Hence, we preferred to use the POS machine for card payment. When we asked the waitress for this, who was visibly upset when I dropped the knife earlier, she seemed puzzled and initially refused. We pointed out that we saw her using the POS machine for other tables, so why not for us? Eventually, she relented. To our surprise, during payment, she suddenly said, "Are you Asians afraid to pay with a QR code?" I explained that it showed an additional fee, but she appeared very puzzled, almost as if we owed her money. 20.05.2025: Celiac friendly gluten free options without cross contamination ❤️ very delicious salty/sweet galettes and waffles 21.05.2025: After eating those things yesterday, after 4-5 hours later, I threw up twice! I even had to vomit into a trash can while walking down the street. The galette or waffle you gave me was definitely not gluten-free, and this is exactly how I react when I eat gluten. I asked multiple times while ordering and again before eating—are you sure it’s gluten-free? I told you I have celiac disease 3 times. How could you give me something with gluten?

I didn’t eat anything else all day, only what I ate at your place. And I didn’t eat anything after that either. The waffle you served me was definitely not gluten-free. I believe you mixed up my order with someone else’s. If I had known this would happen, I never would have left such a good review.

Do you even understand what it means for someone with celiac disease to consume gluten? How are you going to fix the damage you’ve caused to my body? All I can say is wow! And it takes a lot to impress me. The vibes are immaculate. The views are legendary. It sits across the street from the Notre Dame and has a wall of windows. The food was seriously so good. We got 2 savory crepes and a savory waffle. They were stuffed with meat and vegetables. We could not finish our meals because the portions were so big. The sweet crepes at nearby tables were loaded with fresh fruits. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Homemade bolognese on the waffle was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Additionally we got a fresh juice made with apple pineapple ginger and mint that was so delicious. At the end I got a cappuccino with oat milk that was also delicious. I would recommend this place to any of my friends that come to Paris and for my own next trip also. Not to mention the prices were extremely fair especially for the location. 60 euros for 3 entrees and 2 drinks. Edit: came back 5 hours later for a sweet crepe, espresso and ice cream.
