I am surprised this place has 4 stars.
We ordered the pizza Al pesto and the pasta Al pesto.
The pizza was bellow average. The crust was flaky for some reason. They either don't use the correct type of dough, or they freeze a pre-baked pizza? Or they have invented a new way of making pizza and I don't know what I am talking about. It is not pleasant in the mouth though. The pesto was sour and bitter. When the pesto in my home has this colour and taste it is usually because it has been in my fridge for a week. The pasta was a weird creme made with the same pesto so it was a similar experience. My friend found it average. The gentleman that seated us was polite. The lady that took our order seemed bored and a bit rude.
The decoration looks nice. Mind your head in the toilet though. I think the Aircon unit is there.
On the plus side they give you a jar of a type of parmesan to use as you please.

The food was just alright, however. The eggplant lasagna had way too much sauce and cheese in it, and the eggplant needed a bit more time to cook to soften up. The sauce was overwhelming. The calamari fritti was just okay, unfortunately it tasted frozen. There was a good amount of fries, and ketchup, mustard, and mayo were offered on the side, though maybe the calamari could use a homemade tartar sauce. The tarte tatin for dessert was nice though, it had that nice, subtle burned touch to the caramel that made the dessert a balance of salty, sweet, and bitter. Fruity sorbet was good, too. Overall, I think the food could use some improvement, but the place itself is in a nice and accessible spot...

He tried to make fun of my french (not native), and when I got upset he was surprised, apparently he didn't expect my reaction to come. Then, we were served by other waiter, a bit better, but still odd.
The pasta is an insult, the WORST carbonara in the world, they should be in jail for calling that awful thing "carbonara". Impossible to eat.
I think they have this policy with tourists of saying the "card machine is broken", to make you pay in cash. My husband saw that something was off, so he said he would wait until the machine worked and a minute later after they look at each other, the PDQ worked seamlessly. Weird, off. Terrible experience.
Annoying people, disgusting...
