Be careful when they’re busy, they overcharged me €7.

I got 6 croissants, 4 pain au chocolat, 2 baguettes and 2 raspberry pastries. I wasn’t doing the math in my head cause it was so busy and there was a long lineup behind me. They charged me €24 and then immediately said they need to charge me €2 more. I paid €26 in total.

It wasn’t until I opened my box and counted that I realized I should’ve been charged €19. The baguettes, pain au chocolat and croissants should be €1.1 each for a total of €13.2. The raspberry pastries were €2.9 each. I’m annoyed that they don’t even provide an itemized receipt. I don’t know where they got the €26 from.

They were so rushed and wasn’t even letting me complete my order before trying to move along. They also seemed annoyed when I asked for a box to store my pastries since I was ordering so many. I definitely...

What does a five star review mean? Do I think this is the greatest cafe in Paris? No, I don't. But it's cheap, in an area where the same thing I got would have cost twice as much in most places. The staff were friendly, despite my lack of French, and the food was tasty. For films I usually am harsh with my ratings, my voice is just one in thousands, and I hope the quantity of votes will even things out. For a small business with a few reviews each rating is more important. I don't believe online ratings will make or break a business, but it would be foolish to ignore them. Maybe the best way to summarize this rating is that it means I strongly would like this cafe, and businesses like it, to succeed....

A delightful patisserie with many wonderful options for my mother and I during our Paris visit. We had the croissants, croque monsieur, croque madame, Swiss twist bread (forget the French), lemon tart, chocolate torte, chicken sandwich with mayonnaise, apple danish, and chocolate eclair. All of them delicious! There were one man and one woman working each day, both of whom were very welcoming to us; they were also very patient with my rudimentary French and willing to speak English when my French proved insufficient. If you're traveling to Paris and near the neighborhood, I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite! I will the next time I visit, as there were still more tasty options...

An excellent patisserie with a very wide range of authentic and fresh French delicacies including breads, baguettes, croissants, macrons, eclairs, cakes. pastries and much more. Very reasonably priced and great friendly service. Great also for a French or English breakfast. During our week long stay in Paris, we preffered this lovely patisserie for breakfast over the adjacent 5 star hotel we were staying in! Very popular with the local Parisians- which is the ultimate proof of it's quality and value. Highly recommended!
