Very bad experience. Went there for lunch, drinks and work. First lunch is very expensive and you’ll have nothing to eat. A piece of bread with salmon costs 15€. Second they insisted on putting us together on one single mini table though there were many empty tables. Didn’t take into account our 60€ bill. Some people stay alone for hours with a single coffee and they say nothing. They finally fired us from the place in a very impolite manner. I don’t usually give bad reviews but this one is fully deserved.

lovely small cafe with lots of seating. service can be a bit slow but the food and drinks are fast. We had a lovely onion soup, quiche and risotto & we enjoyed the quality of the food very much. the spot has a nice and welcoming atmosphere with lots of french people enjoying their stay. :)

The food was quite good, we had an Onion soup and veg pie. The staff were very friendly and my waitress had a beautiful smile. As it was packed we sat upstairs with less atmosphere and slow service. This is a very reasonable option in this area

It was the perfect night: great place, delicious food, tasty wines and super friendly staff. Until it wasn’t.

While waiting for the bill at the end of the night I was alone at my table while my wife went to the restroom when I was accosted. A different staff member, someone who I had not seen before, approached me wanting to know why I was alone. He initially spoke French, but on realising I was not French his tone changed. When I asked why he was asking me that, he told me “my attitude was horrible” (!!). Apparently not acknowledging his authority was too much for his bruised ego so he continued lecturing me with his arrogant demeanour. I don’t appreciate being disrespected for no reason so I told him to get off my face. He then raised his voice and added “you Americans talk too much.” That did upset me, not because I’m not American, but because his xenophobia was finally in full display. I then raised my voice and told him somethings I felt he needed to hear as he walked back inside. His next move was to push me to pay inside which I refused as his colleague had previously told me to wait at the table. The bill finally came, he entered the wrong amount in the credit card machine (greater, of course), I had it corrected, paid and left.

[edit] If you harass clients out of prejudice, expect pushback. Now, dismissing the issue and blaming the customer isn’t just dishonest—it’s lazy. It speaks volumes about both your professionalism and the caliber of your establishment.

Enjoy your 3.8 rating. I have a feeling you...

Passez , grave, votre chemin.

food was fine but literally saw a rat run into the corner. we let the waitress know and she said oh yeah it comes here everyday. Not sure if they should have done something about it but they are knowingly letting a rodent run around this restaurant? I could not eat another bite afterwards and I was so grossed out I had to leave my friends. they saw another smaller one after and the restaurant finally paid more attention but still nonchalant about the problem. Not sure how common this is in paris but if you care about the hygiene of your food you probably...
