Oh, mon dieu, Les Parisiens! You are the epitome of French elegance. The culinary equivalent of a Louvre masterpiece, painted on a canvas of first class service. The restaurant exudes an atmosphere of understated sophistication with the gentle hum of refined conversation. The harmonious mix of locals and international guests is a testament to its enduring appeal.
The soft lobster were little clouds of lobster bliss. The chervil and spinach were fresh and bright, but that curry butter took it to another level. It was seriously addictive.
The half heart of lettuce vinaigrette was a playful and refreshing palate cleanser. I know, I know, lettuce? But the unexpected brilliance of the lettuce and the vinaigrette showcased the restaurant's commitment to fresh, quality ingredients.
Ah, the french beef tenderloin. Cooked to a flawless tender medium, this blushing jewel, adorned with a green and black pepper sauce, was nestled amidst potato wafer crisps - a triumph. The crisps added a delightful crunch, like a standing ovation for the main event. Then there were, of course, french fries. Super crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the right complement to the tenderloin.
The grand finale was the warm chocolate mousse. Rich and velvety, yet not overpowering, the chocolate was beautifully balanced by the hazelnut praline and the unexpected intrigue of buckwheat ice cream. It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary meal.
The service was impeccable and made me feel like royalty, pampered and adored. It’s evident that everyone at Les Parisiens is passionate about their craft. To top it all off, I timed my departure perfectly. As I walked out into the evening air the sky was ablaze with a breathtaking sunset, casting a golden glow over the city. Les Parisiens is a place where food transcends to an art form. I will be returning to explore more of their exquisite menu. This place...
Read moreThis was unfortunately the worst meal our family experienced in Paris and the worst high end restaurant we have experienced...potentially ever. We ordered the signature seafood pastry dish, a salad, the chicken with mushrooms, steak with pepper sauce and French fries. We ordered cocktails, and a nice bottle of wine. The bread included in meal for the table was burnt and worst bread ever tasted at a legitimate restaurant. The waiter brought all of our food out at the same time instead of proper coursing. This is borderline rude and unprofessional to say the least. The food was Luke warm at best and cold by the time each person got around to taste everything. I have never had a steak (especially one bathing in a.pepper sauce) that almost taste like nothing, but this one managed to accomplish that feat. The signature dish seafood dish was cold, hard and lacked flavor. I did NOT look at anything like the video on the restaurant website. False advertising. The chicken was cold, hard, and the flavor was so sharp and simple that I can only describe as a singular note of boring blandness. It would have been more flavorful to dip it in ketchup. Not what I expected from a restaurant of this supposed caliber. The salad was tasty and the highlight of the evening for sure. The French fries were so hard that no one could eat them. We obviously did not stay for desert and I hope this recommendation will help anyone to stay away from this restaurant if they are looking for a good...or even decent meal in Paris. My goodness, we paid nearly 400 Euro for our family of four and received quality I would expect at fast food. Hands down the worst meal we experienced in Paris. I am sorry Las Parisiens, but you sincerely earned every SINGLE star in...
Read moreFirstly, I’d like to thank Les Parisiens for the food we were served. The oysters for starters were lovely, sweet and fresh. Our Catalan styled whole sea bass for two was very enjoyable indeed. The service was polite and professional. There is one issue I would like to point out however that tarnished our visit to Les Parisiens. We very much enjoyed our seat outside as it was a lovely evening. The table next to us were a group of four people enjoying an evening that I’d be confident in saying was courtesy of the company credit card. Our issue was this, the group of four were literally being treated like ‘Royalty’ by the restaurant, I’d be inclined to use the term fawned over by the staff and management. Whilst our service was perfectly acceptable, it was clear a form of two tier level of attention was being paid to the table next to us and ourselves, and when you aren’t a top tier customer, you feel short changed at not receiving the same experience, despite paying exactly the same price for the food on the table.
We’ve been fortunate enough to dine in some outstanding places around the World, whether they be bistro style, brasseries, restaurants or Michelin starred establishments. What separates an excellent place from a good one is excellent places to eat ensure all of their customers experience the same level of hospitality, regardless of whether they order a glass of house wine and just a starter or they spend £10,000 on the company credit card. From our experience Les Parisiens simply didn’t do that and for that reason alone we wouldn’t return. The food was great, but not good enough a reason to reward it with a second visit as no customer wants to feel like they aren’t worthy of the top...
