This was one of the best mistakes we ever made. We were staying at a flat nearby and my husband thought he saw burgers on the menu when we walked by. Tired from travelling and it being Christmas Eve we went back. There were no burgers but the "formula" was amazing my rustic salad and royal kir were delicious. The waiter recommended "la mixte" and it was amazing. The amount of food was very generous and the staff very friendly and eager to please. The floating island desert really hits the spot too, something different and delicious just like everything else. After we decided to have an evening stroll and the poor waiter followed us for nearly a km trying to catch up because my husband had forgotten his backpack when we left. The only place in Paris we went back to eat at a second time. The second was just as good as the first too! Definitely recommend you try this restaurant!

So nice. They have an English menu and it is clean, cozy and they even play very nice French music. They’ll even explain the menu to you if you’re not certain about what you are ordering and will explain how to cook the Raclette. Such a great restaurant. The people who work there are also great and very friendly and you can even make a reservation online. Would 100% recommend the La Mixte Raclette, but you better come hungry! It comes with a potato, bread, cheese, sauces, all kinds of ham and also slices of beef to grill yourself. Absolutely amazing

Wonderful bites of meat, bread and cheese! I scale reviews to the kind of restaurant and among self cook restaurants like fondue or hot pot, this was a very tasty experience. But be aware, it's somewhat up to you to provide your own experience. I do wish the beef had a little oil so it didn't stick to the grill as much. Very kind wait staff helped us with ordering and explaining how the process worked as it's a bit different from the cheese scraped from a wheel into bread style of raclette we were used to.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me begin with the terrible service my female friend received and ended up being physically assaulted by a female manager. She dined in at this restaurant for 3 days in a row and on her last visit was charged for an additional fondue set that was not ordered due to being 3 customers sharing 1 fondue set. Despite paying for the bill for what they ordered the manager insisted they needed to pay for the extra fondue set and claimed it was listed on the menu for an additional charge WHICH WAS NOT LISTED and as other guests mentioned a TOURIST TRAP. The manager held them against their will and began physically assaulting my friend, her other friend and senior aged mother while attempting to leave after paying the bill. It is disgusting that a woman will hit a woman over food. I have a video recording of this assault but out of respect of my friend I cannot post. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! WE DO NOT SUPPORT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN !!!

EDIT

I saw the video and it was a man pushing and restraining my friend. I was told by my friend the chef came out of the kitchen and got in between. My friend also clarified it was actually a female manager who was the most aggressive, when I watched the video it was a scuffle I saw their hair getting pulled and faces shoved. So disgusting! I urged my friend to press assault charges at the police station since she had a video recording. Nobody should have to be physically coerced to pay for something they...
