The beef was great. The cut was really nice.
The side of fries and the vegetables definitely need work. Fries were shriveled and lots of over cooked small pieces. We ate them though because we were hungry. Vegetables had no seasoning or anything, just sort of wilted and not roasted. I think they were cooked in an oven, but honestly hard to tell.
Nice people but somewhat awkward service. Was not informed of any specials, just asked “ready to order?” So we ordered the steak au poivre but later saw a specials board brought out. Probably would have tried something different but we wanted steak.
I’m sure part of the miscommunication is our fault since we don’t speak French, but just seemed a bit abrupt.
Didn’t think the prices were high as some others indicated; just need some work on the execution IMO.
Thanks...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. Despite a slight wait for our table, the restaurant immediately made us feel welcome by offering some complimentary starters, a thoughtful gesture that truly set a comforting tone for the evening. The food itself was superb. While the entrecôte was certainly good, the T-Bone steak was the true star of the show – perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. To top off a fantastic meal, the profiteroles were an excellent finish, a delightful blend of light pastry and rich cream.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was truly great. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Gueuleton offers a wonderful combination of outstanding cuisine and warm hospitality, and I can't...

For a while now I wanted to try out one of their restaurants. And with 22 restaurants right now there might be a big chance to be in the vicinity wherever you might be in France. My pick was the one in Paris XVII. The service was slow and forgetful (although they were 3 and the restaurant wasn't really busy) but neutrally nice. The food was good, more on the pricey side but still okay. One thing is sure, next time I'll go with some meat-lover friends. I definitely think a place like that is nicer in good company. The meat "balls" I had as a starter were my favorite dish (pork, beef and duck... wow). The beef tartar was good and the flan was okay. For me a flan needs to taste like eggs but not like an omelet neither. Next one on the list might be the...
