So where to begin, first we are finally in France and yes in capital. First day rainy and… lets skip this chapter. I promised my wife I will find a good place to eat. Did I find it?! I did not find a good place-I found magneficent place, a real french family restaurant. Decor is so warm and comfy, light is so romantic and calming, good choise of music. Now about food-starters were melting in our mouths-so gentle, so delicious. Mains were so well cooked that I felt myself like eating with french family in a small french village-that’s what I needed. Staff super friendly, owner (I guess he is :) ) had a chat with us during all our visit, explaining us how they cook and I felt his love to this place. Enjoyed a lot and over all I am suggesting to visit this lovely french restaurant and you will not dissapoint yourself. A french wisdom-if you want a good restaurant-visit...

I was very surprised by this restaurant. I lived in the area but haven't been inside before but tonight we decided to have dinner something italian food. There's nothing more I can say, but the food was so good. From red wine to starter, the main course and desert were so delicious and perfect that is what we wanted. The restaurant is tidy and clean and nice dining lighting. Nice atmosphere. One more thing amazed me the service of the staff was outstanding, he was very friendly and approachable and expert to say for what's on the menu coupled with nice relaxing music they played on. I highly recommend this place. Be sure to make reservations before going to the restaurant as this place is...

We went to l'Artoise based on the google review score and ordered tagliatelle with cepe mushrooms (15€ for some mushrooms tossed in butter and mixed with relatively ok pasta) and a really bad version of seafood fettucini (canned tomato sauce with 5 mussels, 3 clams and 1 shrimp and some delicious sand left by poor cleaning of the shells).

We finished the plates, mostly because of the price...

I'm just glad with had nothing else. Hands down, the worst and overpriced food we had in France on a 2 weeks vacation.

Service was good though, the waiter was nice. Only reason I...

There are actually 2 restaurants at this address. One is Le Comptoir de l’Artoise (which is Italian, and is to left with red awning), and L’Artoise (which is French, and is to right with beige awning). We went to the French one, L’Artoise, on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The pea soup with mint was excellent. Also, the salmon was a large portion and prepared perfectly. The white wine suggested by owner was great. The owner was actually our server and was very friendly. Located just around corner from Hotel Rochester.
