The foie gras is pate, but I actually liked it. The snails are a bit small but still very good. Steak tartar with basil was full of onions, so if you like onions, you will likely enjoy it.
Stumbled upon this place looking for foie gras for my husband... he absolutely loves it but only the seared kind, not the pate. . I on the other hand, do not care for it much at all.. they advertised foie gras on the door so we went in. There was a nice special for 6 snails, foie gras, smoked salmon and a glass of wine for €25, we asked the server if it was pate, he obviously didn't understand and told us no, it's foie gras.. we said okay, we want that and I also ordered steak tartar. When the foie gras came, guess what... it was pate. Hubby was not happy but said oh well because we were hungry.... I almost ate it all and tried to push my tartar off on my husband. It could only be interpreted as some odd passive aggression. We also came with our dog and they said it’s fine. The waitress then looked at our dog like we’d brought a camel into their restaurant. It was a nice setting with good food but the service staff let the place down. Other reviews seem to point to...
Read moreIf you’re looking for an authentic Paris cafe near the Champs Elysee, you will find it here! My husband and I wanted an early dinner and then planned to walk up and down the Champs Elysee. We just happened upon Le Monte Carlo, just a block away behind the Galeries Lafayette. The food is delicious! I got the ravioli with ham, pesto and zucchini. It was delicious. My husband needed a break from French food and just got a burger. Then we split the crepes Suzette and it was delicious! The waitress was helpful to us and other tables make good choices. Highly recommend this place and if we return to Paris, we’ll go...
