When I asked my hotel concierge if Le Paris 17 was an excellent French restaurant, he quickly responded that it was one of his personal favorites. He called for a reservation and told me to ask for Constantin, the owner. From the second we arrived, charming Constantin was accommodating, attentive and so kind. He has a large neighborhood following and pointed out his regular patrons, a man who dines there four times a week and a lady who even brings her own garden shears and prunes his roses for him! He was very patient explaining the menu and making recommendations. My colleagues and I were so taken by the experience, and the delicious food, that Le Paris 17 has become a regular dining spot for us when we are in Paris for business. Constantin goes out of his way to engage the diners. The customer service is special. The cuisine is fantastic and flavorful. My favorites are the duck, the joue de boeuf and the escargot. I’ll definitely visit again when I...

The space is small, having only a few tables, which added to the charm and atmosphere. The menu had some classics and a couple of surprises. The wine list featured bottles from different regions and had a wide array of prices- we had a lovely red. We started with escargot and an egg in a velvety red wine sauce. Both so good we used extra bread to savor every last morsel. Our 2nd course we went lighter, woth a salad of fennel, mushrooms and parmesan and a Buddha bowl (perfect for the vegans out there!) The lighter fare meant dessert, a light and airy chocolate mousse. We only wish this was our...
