Popped in twice during our recent Valentine's trip to Paris as it was convenient to where we were staying. Our first visit was just for drinks, an IPA and a hot chocolate, something warm before returning to our Airbnb. Simple straight forward and good service. Sat inside where it was nice & warm, just to chill for half an hour. We popped back the following day for our evening meal, nothing too complicated, more of a snack than a full meal. A couple of bowls of onion soup and a portion of fries, with a carafe of red wine. Soup was hot with large croutons and a pepperie flavour. Simple food, good tasting wine. Friendly service. Nothing posh. The atmosphere was good, nice and busy, both inside and out. The outside area was packed, the inside not quite so, but the atmosphere was still good, plenty of people enjoying their evening, as we did. Level 9 Google reviewer; 900 plus reviews, 1.4 million views and over 12,000 photos with around 45 million views and still going strong 💪. Check out my other reviews 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

Le Saint Jean is the kind of restaurant that delivers exactly what you’d expect for its price. Affordable? Yes. Gourmet-level quality? Not quite. The beef came with a brie cheese sauce that leaned a little too much on the watery side, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right? The service, on the other hand, was great—our waiter was all smiles and handled everything smoothly. I visited around 3 PM for a late lunch, and the fact that they were still serving at that hour was a huge plus. If you’re exploring nearby tourist spots and need a quick, no-fuss place to sit down and fill your stomach, this is a solid option. Just don’t go in expecting a Michelin star experience, and you’ll leave satisfied.

Friendly greetings on arrival by the employees, and such beautiful Christmas decorations in the restaurant itself. The prices were exaggerated, especially for the croque and coke, in addition, fries were unfortunately dripping of fat with the cheeseburger, but luckily the cheese was really excellent. We were also not asked for our corona vaccin prove, and almost all the staff walked around without mouth masks. Very unfortunate, especially since they walk around with your food and drinks. Except for the price of the products etc, otherwise a great place for a drink.

A quintessential Parisian bistro nestled in the heart of Montmartre, Le Saint Jean offers an authentic dining experience that beautifully blends tradition with charm. The ambiance is quintessentially Parisian—think intimate wooden tables, checkered floors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu features classic French dishes, each prepared with precision and flair. Whether you’re savoring a perfectly cooked steak frites or indulging in a decadent crème brûlée, every bite is a testament to the chef’s dedication to quality. The service is attentive and friendly, making you feel like a cherished guest. Located just steps away from the iconic Sacré-Cœur, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal after exploring the artistic streets of Montmartre.
