A Gem of Parisian Cuisine
On our recent visit to Paris, from England, my partner and I were determined to find an authentic, traditional French restaurant—and we stumbled upon a true gem. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
The meal itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish, from the starter to the main course and dessert, was a masterpiece. The flavors were exquisitely balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. It was, without a doubt, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The starter was a perfect introduction to French cuisine, the main course was rich and hearty, and the dessert was the ideal sweet ending to a flawless evening.
Another absolutely commendable attribute was the attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the staff. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, making us feel not like customers, but like very welcomed guests.
We cannot applaud this restaurant enough. It’s the epitome of French culinary excellence, and we would return in a heartbeat. To anyone searching for an authentic and exceptional dining experience in Paris, this is the place to go. Bravo to the team—we thoroughly congratulate you on creating...

I read reviews online about personality conflicts, but we experienced none of that. We walked in with a "Bon Soir Monseur" and a smile and received friendly, wonderful service the whole time (a little effort in French goes a long way, but they are fine with English as well.) The decor of old photos and posters set the mood for a lovely evening in a local spot. We ordered to start a selection of sausages and the bone marrow (think warm meat butter on toast). Fantastic! For our meal, we had the braised veal shank with cattot puree, steak frites, and duck breast...each was prepared beautifully and was delicious. We ended with coffee, profiteroles, creme brulee, and chocolate mouse. 10/10 . What an...
Read moreSimple. Welcoming. Unforgettable. May 2018. I can not recommend this lovely restaurant high enough! Update. September 2022. Just as good maybe better. Against the waiters advice I ordered the andouillette, the traditional and fearful French giant sausage. The biggest bratwurst you EVER ate was a Vienna sausage compared to this beast. With a load of Dijon mustard it went down just fine. Entree of Camembert at perfect temperature on a decent baguette, and desert of fresh cream cheese and local honey. I’m STILL full. It was as before a WONDERFUL experience. Tres...
