⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Experience – We Didn’t Even Get to Eat

I had made a reservation for a group of over 20 people after a workshop, expecting a smooth and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the service was so poor that neither my husband nor I even got to try the food—and yet, we still had to pay for it.

From the moment we arrived, the attitude of the man who took our reservation was shockingly rude. He seemed annoyed that we came a bit early, even though the restaurant was completely empty and all the tables were already set for us. Rather than welcoming us, he made it clear we were an inconvenience.

I chose to sit outdoors, separate from the group for personal reasons, and was shocked when he refused to serve me any food simply because I wasn’t sitting at the main table—even though I was part of the reservation and had every intention of eating.

In the end, not only were we treated poorly, but I was charged for the full group bill, including meals for myself and my husband that we never received.

This kind of service is completely unacceptable. No matter how good the food may be (not that I’ll ever know), the way guests are treated matters just as much—if not more. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a respectful, professional...

Unfortunately, this was a very bad experience. I normally never give bad reviews, but this was very disappointing. We ordered the "plat du jour" twice, which tasted like microwaved food, and it was still cold on the inside. The portions were small as well. The olives as the starter had already been used, I noticed because the olive pits of the previous clients were still on the plate. The service was kind of bad as well the waitress wasn't very kind, which is not that big of a deal. However, she gave us the wrong change on our bill. Overall, very very...

If you are Middle Eastern or love Lebanese food, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Ordered shish taouk, only to be given a small skewer of dry meat cooked multiple times, hidden by cold bread drowned in harissa and coriander, tomatoes and red onion. Asked for plain bread and was given one wrap that was cut into quarters and cold - I could’ve gone to a supermarket and done it myself. Coming from London and having been to many Lebanese restaurants, was disappointed. Not authentic. Not worth the price. Not...

The restaurant was in its first opening days, so we will try one more time in a few weeks to check for improvement. Only 3 stars for the food because the flat bread and the falafel felt at least a day old. The snack-size veggie pizza-like thingy was good, and the basil humus was excellent. There is hope that it will shape up to be excellent all around! Careful with the bill, prices are not per item it seems, but per bundle of things. I am sure this will be defined more clearly in the future, as I said it was their opening week.

We happened upon this place and I am so glad we did. No one else was dining at the time so we almost passed it by. Now I know it’s just a great kept secret. The food was phenomenal. Best falafel I’ve ever had….and I’m a vegetarian who has tried a LOT of falafel. Even my meat-eating husband loved the falafel. He also loved the beef schwarma. Their version of spanikopita was different but oh so delicious. Hummus was perfect. Portion size was more than enough. We left stuffed. I highly recommend this place!!!

We had a lovely late lunch/early dinner here. It had great vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food was fresh and tasty: creamy hummus; excellent tabbouleh and fresh salad of cucumbers/tomato/mint/radishes. Lemonade with mint - refreshing! The roasted potatoes were excellent, too. For dessert we enjoyed the pistachio, rose "pudding" and the Lebanese pastries were wonderful. Friendly service, too. Check it out.
