It’s been a while since I’ve been trying to find a perfect bar, that would offer not just an overpriced cocktail but would also represent the art of mixology, chic classy atmosphere and a warm service.

Bar James Joyce has it all. Not only it is the bar with the best service I’ve had in Paris, but the concept itself is intriguing. No spoilers: try it yourself.

The staff is attentive to details and client satisfaction and has great soft skills and makes sure your experience is wholesome and joyful (also speaks perfect English)

We were disappointed in the menu cocktails here. Service was good, but the drinks felt over engineered with flavors that did not seem to go together.

One of us ordered the Hasard (surprise me) cocktail and it was barely drinkable. We think it was blueberry with jalapeño, absinthe and club soda. Did not bother getting a picture.

We stuck with our usual “go to” cocktail orders on the second round. Much better.

Snack options on the menu are not worth it. We ordered the summer sausage. It was thin slices of salami with a side of bread.

A bar for the nobles of society. The hamachi I had came with a tomato, olive, caper sauce with good flavor that helped mask the slight hint of fishy taste from hamachi. They didn't have Ketel one vodka for martini. The dry wine I had was fine. The prices are similar to New York/San Francisco, so be prepared to spend some $. Service was attentive and professional. They do seem to make some exotic cocktails if that is your thing. I would try this...
