Great coffee, although we had to wait a while (now I understand the long wait was due to the amount of coffees to go they have to prepare for their second location, read below)
P.S: I unfortunately need to change my opinion, based on the service at the other location (4 rue Perronet) not indicated on the google maps. The drinks are prepared here and then delivered there, causing them to be served barely lukewarm. The two tables next to ours complained about the same thing. My paper cup tea was served more than half empty, which i think is scandalous considering this is just warm water. The waiter filled it up after request though, but reacted very passive agressively after i brought my half empty cup to the counter. Finally, the same waiter kicked us out later saying they are „closing” when it was 15:30. The cafe closes at 6pm according to google maps, and since we saw other people coming in, this just feels like a good excuse to make us leave. The overall experience is bad, and is a shame since I hoped to enjoy it the second time I came here. This will be the...
Read moreWe went to Saint Pearl for a Saturday brunch. Once we entered, the guy asked us if we had a reservation: when we said no, he seemed a little upset (even though we didn’t understand as there were two free tables). I ordered a Benedict with salmon instead of bacon: it was good but a little unbalanced cause the sauce was a little too sour and there were so many onions. The Rose juice (strawberries, apples, ginger and green lemon) was very tasty and refreshing! I had to consistently low down my rating because of two reasons: the first is the fact that the place did not have a bathroom... I am not even sure that’s legal. And the second is that I payed the 2€ supplement for salmon: I know it was written on the menu but, ehi, I did ask to remove the bacon and I am pretty sure there wasn’t more than a 30 grams salmon slice. I am sorry but it was waaaay too expensive. (Benedict 14€50 and juice 5€). I don’t enjoy writing negative commentaries, plus the place is cute, but I think the least the personnel could do is being a little nicer...
Read moreStumbled across this cafe during my 45 days stay in Paris. I was looking for something which is not typical french (after visiting tons of french cafes and restaurants), found this through google search. I enjoyed everything there, especially their galettes, avocado toast, buratta perdu, matcha cinnamon rolls, granola...etc.Honestly I havent tried everything on the menu because I kept ordering the same thing as they were tooooo yummy lol! I even start following them on Instagram so I can get their latest daily menu! (seems that they have more choices during weekend)
I will move to Paris in 2 years and my future home-in-Paris is close to this cafe, I'm sure it will become my daily go-to-place. P/S: as mentioned in other reviews, they dont have washrooms and the place is small, these 2 factors dont effect me at all. However, I do sincerely wish that they can get tons of business, which allows them to move to a bigger venue. Such high quality food deserve better venue, and deserve to be known by...
