The food is mostly very good. 8 to 8.5 out of 10. At the same time, the dishes feel out of tune. Like someone with mediocre cooking skills trying to copy a great recipe.

We were 2 adults and two school kids staying at Liquide for lunch. We had a very good cocktail, 4 starters and 3 mains (the kids shared one). The starters were better than the mains. The carpaccio St. jacks was very good, as were the fish toasts. My beef tartar in crab chips had a great taste. But there was so little meat, it was ridiculous.

The portions are very small. I had to ask for bread (which was excellent) a second time and was still hungry when we left. The bread came in a small bag with one peace per person. It was not refilled when empty.

The main was ok, nothing really special. Too many too weak flavours but at least in interesting combinations. The vegetable main was too fatty and not very tasty. We spent 200 Euros and did not even have desert. I left still hungry and I am not a fat person or huge eater. The price value ratio is very bad from my point of view.

Another big disappointment was that one dish of the main course was sold out at 1 pm.

Then, to our dismay, they played rap music full of swear words. So our lunch was accompanied by lots of fcks, btches, shits, and ngger words. Our kids speak English. Some of the weighters did too - so no excuse.

We will surely never return. I mentioned the music when we left and locked into embarrassed faces. To sum up: good food. At the same time poor price value. Mediocre service...

Cooking - seasoning is almost absent from all the dishes, the portions are far too small given the prices. The starter with seasonal crops literally has one cep sliced in two for 24€ …this is taking the piece The onglet came blue when I ask for medium rare, the wine sauce has no taste, the shallots have not cooked sufficiently, the sauce is not deep red velvety but rather a liquid with beats of shallots - again portion is below acceptable at 32€ The desert was very poor - riz au lait with peanuts - rice was overcooked, it was like a mash of rice, no taste of vanilla, peanuts sauce complete overwhelming the dish Wine list dramatically overpriced The restaurant itself is attractive with the open kitchen in the dining room. Tables are too small and the seats are not comfortable - no table cloth on the table - unacceptable at this price range Service is slow and with little attention for the customers Very disappointing overall with a very poor value for money. To be strongly avoided so much better...

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant but it didn’t meet my expectations. The lunch menu looks quite a good deal but then it has just one option. There are so many people with dietary requirements like allergies, vegetarians , people who don’t eat certain meat for religious reasons etc . To have just one option is very limited . As soon as I asked if that’s the only option , the waiter said ‘yes and we don’t do any modifications.’ We had to choose from the à la carte menu . The food was ok but I just didn’t enjoy the whole experience. Again the waiter couldn’t take our finished plates quick enough. Our whole starter -main lunch finished in 37 minutes!! The restaurant was full so it obviously pleases many but not me , I didn’t enjoy it. Good luck to the hardworking chef and the attentive staff. Edit : I really appreciate the response I got from the restaurant. Obviously a professional...

It’s no wonder why it’s always packed. Definitely need a reservation in advanced. Enjoyed very much our serveur who entertained us with his dry English humour and recommended us the best dishes. My favourite was the fried frogs, once you get through the crunch, you are left with soft juicy meat of the frog. The scallops was cooked to perfection and the bread was a compliment to wipe clean the sauce! Steak was done well, but felt it could be more charred. Small dessert menu but very innovative, especially the one we ordered - who would have thought turnip could be turned into a dessert ? Overall love the vibe, service and food. Definitely worth a return visit to sample the rest of the menu.
