Edit after response: We were very kind and understanding throughout the entire discussion even when we were met with your waiter’s passive aggressive remarks. But of course it is to be expected from an establishment of your quality or lack there of to blame the customer instead of educating your staff on basic customer service and siding with them when they feed you lies about how they handled the situation

I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you wish to have a positive experience with the service staff. While the food was acceptable, I had an issue with the portion size of the lasagna I ordered—it was the smallest portion of lasagna I’ve ever been served in any restaurant.

To clarify whether this was a mistake (because errors happen—we’re all human), we politely asked the waiter if this was their usual portion size, as it seemed noticeably smaller than the portions of other dishes we observed being served at nearby tables. His response was dismissive and unnecessarily snarky, claiming that the portion was normal, even "quite big" at 140–200 grams. He then made a sarcastic remark about whether we were expecting an entire casserole of lasagna, smirking as he spoke.

We reassured him that we were simply asking to ensure there hadn't been an error. Despite this, the interaction left a sour impression. Unsurprisingly, I finished the dish in under three minutes—it took just six bites—and it seemed like there was more salad on the plate than lasagna.

About 15–20 minutes later, the waiter returned with another plate of lasagna, which was notably larger than the original portion. While this could have been a satisfactory resolution, his comment—“I told the chef, and he sent you this plate so now you can be full full all night!”—was delivered with the same sarcastic and condescending tone as before.

If the goal was to resolve the issue, I fail to understand why it was handled with such hostility. Having worked in food and beverage myself, I find this behavior unacceptable.

After leaving the restaurant and reading other reviews that included pictures of lasagna, we saw that this is indeed not the dish they normally serve the lasagna in, and that indeed we were served a smaller portion than usual. Needless to say we will not be...

Very welcoming and friendly. Victor, our host, was the best! I had the seared salmon with roasted vegetables which were savory and delicious. The crispy sear on the salmon and moist temperature in the middle was perfect. My husband had the linguine pesto with crevettes which were also very good. We shared the caprese salad and nice bottle of Chianti. We had to wait on a table for a few minutes and the friendly bar tender comped us a small glass of white wine. Ordinarily we tend to avoid restaurants so close to Rue de Rivoli but this was a positive experience that we would...

We chose it because there was room as we went by and it seemed cozy. Service was really good and pleasant. The minestrone soup was tasty, intense tomato based and the avocado toast was fresh and delicious. The bread crunchy , not hard. We shared eggplant parmigiana and was delicious! And came with a fresh green salad. We also had dessert, Tiramisu of pistachio, different from the usual and very good and coffee, the strong type. I would definitely recommend it. We saw some people having pizzas and they looked very good!

The starters and the mains was the best I've had experienced. Starters: Butternut squash soup (very creamy and tastes better than any italian restaurant in uk and Paris) Bruchetta which is my all time fav anywhere but no other place does it as good as here! Defo recommend better than main street restaurants. The waiters English is great and very welcoming. Lovely warm atmosphere and great music to chill and unwind after a long day. Will be returning here again
