We came to Midi 12 looking for the best crepes and galettes in Paris. Mission accomplished! The hands-on owner was a great guy who took the time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves in spite of how busy he was. He made excellent conversation... and even better food!
My wife and I each got a galette for our main course and a crepe for dessert. I went with the "galette of the day" that included leeks and other tasty ingredients, while my wife went with the goat cheese galette. Both were savory, perfectly cooked, and delicious! I got the Suzette crepe for dessert which came with a fiery show when the owner lit the Grand Marnier that went on top of it. He even turned off the lights while doing this to add to the fun. It was incredibly tasty, and my wife really enjoyed her chocolate crepe. We also had the breasted goat cheese salad which was unique and fantastic.
The meal was extremely affordable and had a plethora of tastes that all gave us great satisfaction. We even enjoyed the "service elevator" that brought the food up from the kitchen to the owner so he could serve us. This was a fantastic meal and evening out that we'd...

Food: To be honest we had no idea about the menu we just read that they have good veg options so we went in, and since it was our lunch we wanted to have something heavy as we had a light breakfast. Unfortunately, we couldn't pin-point a heavy veg dish, so we thought of getting something different and ordered Pan-cakes with Vanilla Ice-Cream and Breasted Goat Cheese Salad(no bacon). Both the items were delicious, and we loved them.
Staff: The staff here was courteous and helpful in all manners. One thing I liked was that our attendees had a good knowledge of each item on the menu and had a clear understanding of ingredients and taste.
Washroom: The Washroom was neat and clean, and exactly where I prefer it to be, away from the main dining area.
Verdict: I would suggest visiting this place to try out their Crepes, I have read they have...
Read moreBeautiful little cafe. Came between breakfast and lunch due to my schedule today. I was greeted warmly and had the place to myself but the gentleman who seated me, busily took reservations while I waited for the chef to prepare my food. I ordered a cappuccino while I waited and it was served with an amazing Madeleine like cookie, only much better, that was house made. I ordered the galette du jour which was a salmon, goat cheese and leek galette, served with a side salad. I originally came in for a sweet crêpe but he said salmon and I instantly changed my mind. I briefly considered ordering without the goat cheese but the French know best when it comes to food. 😉 When my dish was set before me, I could smell the fresh dill. It was heavenly and as I had hoped, the goat cheese was not overpowering and balanced the flavors of the leek perfectly. You can easily reserve a table online as well. They have a few outdoor tables as well but it was chilly and in the shade when I went so I opted to eat inside. I doubt you can go wrong...
