Racist staff and pretty good food. Bib Gourmand at best. I guess you have to decide whether you are ok with Parisian b@&$sh&$ or not. This is no Guy Savoy. If you are at a Michelin Starred restaurant, I have a reasonable expectation of service. If you are not French, forget the service. Olive Garden is more pleasant (I have never been to Olive Garden).
The good - frogs legs excellent, sea bream great, sweetbreads salty, soufflé- not a friggin soufflé. If you call something a "soufflé", don't serve me crepes with a filling. Really????
The service was lacking, but most disgustingly, I was not sure of what anything was when it was served. The staff is clearly a bunch of racist asshats because they were going on at length describing the dishes to our French neighbors. When we told them the white wine was warm they said "yes." And walked away.
There are so many great restaurants in Paris. Pass on this place - ok food with asshats for staff.
They also don't seem to care for handicapped patrons. Two handicapped bathrooms - one was flooded and one was a storage room. Come on Michelin- if this how you award stars, I am switching to...
Read moreThe service was absolutely horrible. The restaurant was empty except for me and a small group of gentlemen. The main female server completely ignored me and only served the small group. It took almost 10 minutes just for her to acknowledge me and give me a menu. I tried to get her attention and she just put her finger up to tell me to wait but she never came back. I was going to get food but ended up just getting a drink because I didn’t want to stay here. Very unwelcoming. There was a nice male server who was also working at the bar who was the only one that acknowledged me/took my order. I was drawn in because the restaurant looks beautiful from the outside but would never come back here. I almost walked out because I was sitting for so long before anyone offered me a menu. I really only stopped for shelter because I was walking on the street and it started raining and I didn’t have an umbrella … After my experience here I would have rather just kept walking in the rain. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a while. Set your expectations very low if you...
Read moreIn love with everything related to this place! The wellllcome, the design, the mood, music, the staff and first and most important the food - perfect - best restaurant so far in 4 years in Paris!!! Behind the dishes, chef Mathieu Pacaud knows it all, the 3* are more then desearved! The dishes arrive like a dance on jazz songs, first quiet so you can have a conversation with your neighbour, the colours take you away for a while, the flavours make you wonder about childhood fresh herbs and dishes, recreated, reinvented in a more contemporary way! The "agneau de lait", was divine - a real voyage into texture, cooking method, herbs, sauce and meat types!!! BestEver!!! The desert, the ganache, arrives after a "amouse-bouche" pomme-crumble citron, fresh and complex, even if it fits in a small spoon. I had the ganache, Chef Mathieu Pacaud must be "un équilibriste", perfect chocolate texture, temperature and presentation. Perfection...
