Where do I even begin?? What an absolutely tremendous experience we had at New Jawad. We spent a week in Paris, sampling different places, and on the final day, we reserved a table here. The food was THE best we had during our stay in Paris. The atmosphere was gorgeous, the servers were extremely pleasant and attentive. We ordered the $30 menu, which you have 3 different choices for for 1 appetizer, one main and a dessert. Each part of the meal was beautiful. And when we arrived, they had a complimentary, delicious something.. I don't know what it was, but it was all breathtaking. The drinks we ordered were top notch - made well and no shortage of flavor or alcohol (lol). New Jawad really made our final evening in Paris one to be remembered. The food literally brought me to tears!!! It was unforgettable. The music, the decor, EVERYTHING. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. Thank you so very much. I will be returning on my next holiday to Paris ❤️ Je t'aime

My recent visit to New Jawad Restaurant in Paris was nothing short of delightful. From the exceptional food to the outstanding service, everything exceeded my expectations. The food was truly excellent. Biryani was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The highlight of my meal was the Kulfi ice cream, which was creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet—an absolute must-try! To top it all off, the tea was exceptional, providing a comforting and authentic taste that rounded out the meal perfectly. The service was another standout feature. Our server, a gentleman in Photo attached from Gujrat, Pakistan, provided impeccable table service. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience with his warm hospitality and professionalism. His attention to detail and genuine care for our satisfaction made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend New Jawad Restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Paris.

I’m not even sure how to begin.. what a nightmare! The portions were SO SMALL, it was insane. I’ve never seen such a tiny samosa (7 euros!!) and so tasteless, I mean, it was grey inside. Tastes like a pack of cheap frozen samosas you’d buy at the supermarket. We ordered the chana masala and the eggplant curry, they were absolutely bland. The chickpeas tasted like they were tipped in straight from the can and the sauces were watery and lacking flavour. I’m a huge fan of Indian cuisine and this was a blasphemy! Where were the seasoning? They forgot about them apparently. I was trying to taste something by adding salt and the waiter told me I shouldn’t add salt, because it’s unhealthy 😂 what?! I told him I couldn’t taste any seasoning in the food and he asked me if I wanted it spicier. Honestly, what a horrific experience we had. The rice we ordered (6 euros) was a disgrace too. Smallest portion ever and super bland. They just threw some raisins, raw pistachios and raw almonds on top, didn’t season or at least toasted them to bring some flavour out. I was absolutely in shock when I found a hair in the curry in my plate and decided to walk out the door. We didn’t have the chance to try the naan but it was also the smallest naan we’ve ever had. I don’t recommend this place and will never go back. It was the worst dinning experience I’ve ever had in my life.

Made reservations and came for dinner here because we were trying to find some good Indian food. All in all the restaurant was ok. I would probably give it 3.5 but I can't commit to a 4. I'm not really sure who our server was because a different person came by every time, so asking for anything was impossible because we never saw the previous person again. We shared Samosas to start and I had a Chicken Kabob. The Samosas didn't have too much filling as it tasted like it was all pastry dough and the Kabob was very dry - I had to hold off until my curry came around to eat it because I needed to sop it up with something. I then had the Lamb Vindaloo with Saffron rice in hopes that it would be spicy but nothing, it was mild at best. The lamb was cooked well, but the curry itself was just ok. The restaurant was in a nice location and the esthetics of the dining room were nice (the bathroom was very dirty though) but my experience with the food was subpar. Compared to many other reviews, we must have just been one of the wild cards that had this experience because the restaurant for the most part has glowing reviews. I wish that wasn't the case, but I'm not sure I would give this restaurant another try considering my first impression and visit.

Our recent dining experience at New Jawad wasn’t pleasant . Despite the restaurant’s apparent popularity and high ratings on Google, our meal fell short of expectations. We started with tandoori chicken and Jhinga tandoori, both of which were a letdown. Neither the chicken nor the prawns were properly cooked and lacked flavor, even after requesting spiciness. Moving on to the main course, the mutter korma was the saving grace, offering a decent taste. However, the butter chicken failed to impress due to undercooked chicken pieces. On a positive note, the breads were enjoyable, and the drinks, particularly the Jawad cocktail, were acceptable. Unfortunately, the lackluster service added to our disappointment. The staff seemed unwelcoming, and when we provided feedback on the food quality, they showed little interest, brushing it off as standard practice. Adding to our surprise, the bill provided lacked specific details of the items we ordered, instead using generic terms like "entree" and "plats". Added image for reference In conclusion, while New Jawad may boast high ratings, our experience did not reflect the acclaimed authentic Indian taste. We cannot recommend it based on our visit.
