Pizza Mario — Restaurant in Paris

In a pinch, this place is wonderful because they delivered to our hotel in au Trocadero. We were suffering from jet lag our first evening so we decided to order in. It’s relatively inexpensive (about 25 Euros total) and we had the family size pizza margharita with cold drinks and dessert. The pizza was delicious. Best we’ve had in awhile. Pizza is number 2 on my list of all time favorite food and this places pizza was not the best nor the worst and was much more near the worst. Not sure if it was the pizza I ordered or what but it was hard to stomach! I ordered the Pizza 3 Jambons and it had the weirdest taste. I ate 2 slices with toppings, 1 without because I scraped it all off and then I trashed the rest of it. I also ordered mozzarella sticks. Trash as well. Very disappointed...

To clarify why, I think, there are so many great reviews mixed with poor reviews: The pizza is good. However, it does not have tomato sauce as does American pizza. For this reason, Americans may find the pizza disappointing or not what they expect. If you are an American who is used to pizza with tomato sauce, the pizza won't be what you expect.
