Ragazzi — Restaurant in Paris

This place is the definition of a tourist trap. My partner and I were the only people seated in the restaurant and it was hard to get service. The second a pair of locals walked into the restaurant, they were offered bread and water to their table immediately. We ordered the cesaer salad, which did not have dressing on it and included the core of the romaine lettuce. We also had the “burrata” vegetarian pizza, which did not include any burrata and was smothered in mozzarella instead. We also got the carbonara pizza, which had both raw and severely overcooked guanciale in it. At this point, the glass of wine we ordered was likely not what we ordered off the menu either. Our experience at this restaurant was awful and we were rushed out within 30 minutes of being seated. Never again. I ordered a carbonara, and received something that looked like scrambled eggs so I asked for a new one, the second one wasn’t fully cooked and looked like milk with spaghetti and raw bacon, and tasted nothing so I got a third pasta - another dish that was mediocre. Let me tell you that I never before in my life ever have send anything back to the chef so I am not picky. Then after we had finished the pasta (that I for sure could make better at home) we asked to pay, and it took about 30 minutes to get our bill. And lastly, we tried to reserve a table online but didn’t get any response so we wen’t to the restaurant to try and it was only half full so we got a table, then an hour after we left, we got an confirmation on our reservation that we made for three hours before, okay? I felt pressured from the moment I sat down to order right away - and was again pressured to order more food than we actually wanted. The woman did not pressure other tables, just us. Maybe because we are American with children. Then again, was rushed through the meal when other diners who got there before us were still seated. Did not get to relax cause she was back taking our plates so fast when we were barely finished and swiftly brought the check. Never have I gotten a check so fast in Paris (with the card machine in hand). Food was mediocre for the high prices. Then was pressured by the same woman to leave a tip, which is not usual in France and I never encountered before. No thanks and never again.
