i hesitated to share this review but after seeing all those comments about the employees i also decided to share my opinion.
i was at pret a manger today and i noticed that the employee (with long hair) was really disrespectful with the way he was looking at some customers. i understand that you might be tired but you don't have to look at people in a rude/bad/judgy way. YOU decided to have this job. the least you can do is to be professional. mostly when the customer didn't do anything wrong or didn't treated you in a bad way. i also had my share of bad treatment and i usually don't really care but it's not the case for everyone. (also: it would be great if the employees listen to customers instead of talking to their colleagues and then have a bad attitude with us)
(note: the whole team is not like it! it's only 2/3 people...)
someone said in the comment: I strongly suggest that the HR department of this establishment implement training and courses for their employees to reinforce respect towards customers,
and that would be great. i noticed this behaviour in other pret a manger and i don't understand? do you want to loose customers? because if i keep seeing this nasty attitude i will definitely stop using my subscription and tell my friends and family to do the same.
why should we give our money every month just to be treated like this? ok it's 5 drinks per days for 25€ but still? we all know that the drinks doesn't really cost 3/5€ so at the end you don't lose money.
anyway. you should try to be more professional and if you don't want: just leave and find another job - one where you don't have to deal with...
Read moreI was wondering to have chocolat chaud au lait with ice…they made it complicated by saying do you want hot chocolate with milk? OR do you want hot chocolate with ice? It’s not possible to have what I want with displeased look toward me.
I am just wondering why it is so complicated to have ice in a chocolate milk drink?
So I said « chocolate chaud au lait s’il vous plaît » and guess what after that staff told me to wait patiently on the side (fast, no eye, contact, and in a rude tone)
A few moment later, I asked another staff sweeping the floor (the friendly and smily one) and explained that what I asked is not the standard which is fine for me. So I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1.
The problem with me is NOT because I couldn’t have what kind of drink I wanted. The problem is the way and how the staff treating paying customer like what I experience.

Read moreNot a day goes by where I don’t think about this pret & all of the amazing employees. I used to be a regular here all throughout 2022. I went here almost every day. The employees were so thoughtful and just amazing people in general. They gave me advice, had my drink order memorised, created special drinks only for me, gifted me some pret food etc etc etc.
In times where I was down they picked me up & now, almost 2 years later whenever I come back they remember me and care so much. I appreciate this pret so much, even if it sounds a bit dramatic. The drinks were always of the best quality, food is obviously amazing. The tables were regularly cleaned & even the toilets are clean (very many people used them daily)
