Pub O'Prince — Restaurant in Paris

Loved this place. Right next door to our hotel we stayed in and didn’t visit this bar until our last night. Nothing frilly but lots of character. The bartender had a great sense of humor and was very funny. He explained that the prices are low since they are located near a university. Didn’t try the food although everything smelled delicious and we saw the chef putting great care into the desserts. We enjoyed a few glasses of Aberlour whiskey which was a first for us. Awesome spot. Honestly wasn’t expecting much when we went but had good reviews when we were looking for a place close by to pop into. Beer prices were really affordable competitive to other nearby spots. And the cheeseburger with bacon was a top 5 burger for me all time. We have friends who own a couple nice upscale pubs that we enjoy back home and their burgers don’t touch the one we had here. Our kid also had the salmon pasta which he enjoyed. But the burgers were the best. Service was really great too. It looked like there were just two people, the front of house and chef/cook. And still very attentive and got us taken care of super quickly. Very nice...

Truly one of the best burgers I’ve had in years. I was skeptical because going to a pub in Paris just feels wrong (being from London), but this was near our lodging and had good reviews. They are not wrong! I’m a bit of a burger snob and this one was superb. Service was friendly and, although it was empty at 19.00, by the time we left there were quite a few tables occupied....
