â 1 star Humiliating Experience â Never Going Back
We went to Rosemonde, next to the Luxembourg Gardens, where three friends were already seated and having drinks. We joined themâthree more peopleâto have lunch. As soon as we sat down, a waitress approached to take our order, but we hadnât even had a chance to look at the menu yet. My husband ordered a beer to join the others who were already drinking, and my friend and I simply said weâd wait a moment to decide, as we didnât know yet what to eat.
From that moment, the waitress started treating us extremely poorly. She said that if we werenât going to order something right away, we had to get up and leave. We politely explained we were about to order and just needed a minute, but she became rude and insisted we leave immediately, saying only those consuming could stay.
It escalated quicklyâshe began raising her voice, pulling our chairs, and acting aggressively. To our complete shock, she even gave us the middle finger. It was absolutely humiliating. She then closed the bill without our consent, brought the payment machine over, and essentially kicked us out.
We've never been treated so badly in any establishment. Avoid this place at all costs. Terrible service, total lack of respect and professionalism.
The photo was taken while we were explaining what had happened to another staff member, still shocked by the way we...

We went to Rosemonde, next to the Luxembourg Gardens, to have lunch with friends. Three people were already seated, and we joined themâthree more. I ordered a beer, and my wife and a friend said they would wait a bit to order because they hadnât seen the menu yet. All very normal.
But shockingly, the waitress started mistreating my wife, saying she couldnât sit there unless she ordered something immediately. Even though we explained we were about to order, the staff member became aggressive, raised her voice, told her to leave the restaurant, and even pulled our chairs violently.
My wife was publicly humiliated â the waitress yelled, gave us the middle finger, and kicked us out as if we were garbage. It was outrageous. We were in a tourist spot, just trying to enjoy lunch. We never expected to go through this in Paris.
The photo was taken while we were explaining the situation to another staff member, still trying to process the absurd disrespect.
We will never step foot in this place again. Basic respect for customers is the...
