Sushi Yaki — Restaurant in Paris

So I've been here since 15+ years ago when I was a broke exchange student at the Sorbonne. Ownership has changed once since then but the friendliness and price-quality ratio hasn't. I come here for their yakitoris - which of course aren't included in this photo because they are so tasty I ate them and completely forgot about photos. It's not easy to find a place in Paris where you'll get great service and great priced food which taste good too. For my Asian folks if you're looking for your comfort food fix don't miss this place - and there are plenty of bars and cafes in the area for you to kill time...

Sushi Yaki was one of the most homely restaurant environment I've ever experienced. The food was amazing, perfectly cut, and expertly prepared. I've never experienced an environment that made me feel that I was welcome while producing such an expertly made meal. The only disappoint I left home with was the fact they were closed for Sunday. If I were to return to Paris, this would be my first meal stop. I absolutely recommend it; their reasonable prices and delicious food make them in absolute must in the city of...

If I could give Sushi Yaki 10 stars, I would.

I ordered a bowl which had sashimi on top a bed of rice (I don’t recall the exact name of it, so see the photo attached). It came with miso soup and a refreshing cabbage salad. And… It was 12.90 euros!!! SO much fish for such a low price. The fish was also super fresh and the miso soup was great. It looked like everything on the menu was a good deal.
