Ladurée Beaugrenelle — Restaurant in Paris

We had the most amazing experience at Laduree Beaugrenelle. It was the highlight of our trip and I would travel back to Paris just to experience the exquisite pastries and amazing service. This is not your average pastry/dessert shop. Everything is made with attention to detail, beautiful and absolutely delicious. We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday there this past Monday and the staff were so wonderful. They provided a beautiful candle in one of the pastries and lit it for us to sing happy birthday to my daughter. The manager even gave my two older daughters extra macarons to take along with them. I will treasure those memories forever and cannot wait to go back. Please visit this Laduree location as part of your Paris experience. It is a must do! You will be glad you did. I had a very disappointing experience at your store. The staff seemed unqualified and didn’t know much about the products they were selling. I asked simple questions about the chocolates (what kind of chocolate, how many pieces in a box) because I was buying for the first time and as a gift. Instead of helping, the consultant found it funny and later repeated our conversation to a colleague, laughing out loud. I had to ask for a ribbon even though boxes on display had them. Only the cashier acted professionally and offered a gift bag.

The contrast with another chocolate shop I visited the day before was striking — there, I received warm and attentive service, clear explanations, beautiful packaging, and gift bags for everything.

The vegan chocolate macarons are amazing! They were everything you dream a macaron could be, soft, a little chewy, gooey filling and absolutely delicious and rich chocolate flavor. I came back and bought more the following day. I completely understand the Ladureé hype now. I’ve been to one branch in NYC, but this one was on another level. It’s also gorgeous! The decor is beautiful. The utensils and plates are pretty. It’s super aesthetic. The food and drink offerings from their menu were also a hit among my family. I got a non dairy matcha latte and it was a decent one, no complaints. The vegan cake was nothing special compared to the macarons so I could have done without it.
